Mexis Fresh Express — Restaurant in Moncton

First off, for all of you that I advised on the great nachos at Mexi's Express...I'm sorry for poor direction. We ordered 2 "portions" of nachos last night(September 11) expecting the same consistency that we had received on our past 3 orders. The order was placed on line with car-side pick-up which went as expected. When I grabbed the bags them seemed very light. Upon inspection they had forgotten to include all the sauce and salsa as ordered on the side. I also had a look at the nachos and much to my dismay the portion had shrunk to approximately 25% of the previous portions and toppings were basically non-existent. I went into the restaurant to request the sauce and asked why the portions were so tiny. An employee came out to the car to see and stated that is their portion size and that they had been "over portioning" in the past. Not sure on the strategy but doesn't work for me. I would classify the portion as an appertizer size at best so if you are looking for a meal or decent nachos GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! This was very disappointing as the previous nachos...

I had delicious beef hard shell tacos for lunch...man was I happy! The staff are friendly and the food is great everytime I stop by on my trips to Moncton. I've tried several different items on the menu and I've never been disappointed.

If you want a stuffed belly...try one of their giant burritos ( and ask them to throw everything but the kitchen sink inside) this monstrosity must have been at least a pound of goodness. I also really enjoy the jalapeño creme fresh sauce.

My wife and daughter always ask me to bring them home steak and chicken soft tacos ( still good the next day) Be aware that the prices are on the higher side, but so is the quality. I would recommend if your looking to try something different than usual...

My lovely wife Pat and I finally stopped in at this Mexican style restaurant for an odd hours meal (low customer count). Since I'm not big on Mexican food (I don't even know Spanish), I went with their new thin crust pizza. Pat did as well. Wouldn't have known about it if not mentioned by the host as we pondered what to order.
