I recently had the pleasure of dining at Restaurant Pho Dzung, and I must say, it was an extraordinary experience from start to finish. I went there at least 5 times in the last 2 weeks. The moment I stepped inside, I was greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere that immediately put me at ease. The staff was incredibly attentive and knowledgeable, offering excellent recommendations. The menu was a culinary delight, featuring a diverse range of options that showcased the chef's creativity and skill. Each dish I tried was a masterpiece in both presentation and taste, bursting with flavors that left my taste buds dancing with joy. The attention to detail and quality of ingredients were evident in every bite. Furthermore, the service was impeccable, with prompt and efficient delivery of each course. The ambiance was perfect for a memorable evening, with elegant decor and soft lighting that created an intimate and cozy setting. Overall, my experience Restaurant Pho Dzung exceeded all expectations, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking an exceptional dining experience. It's truly deserving of its five-star rating.

We were 2 couples wandering in Laval, we got hungry, so we looked for the nearest asian restaurant which led us here. It was around 7:30pm and the restaurant was almost empty since it was almost closing time. We ordered the all-dressed large size Pho Dac Biet bowl each and a side dish of spring roll (chicken and shrimp) Oh my. Better than we thought! Deliciiiious. I usually go eat at my favourite Pho restaurants in Montreal, but this place got in my list! The broth was amazing, they boiled it with great ingredients I could tell, less greasy as well, the smell was just too good. Generous portion of meat and all that. As for the spring rolls, I usually take shrimp elsewhere, this place even have pork, chicken and shrimp as options. I wasn’t too sure if the chicken would taste good, no regretting at all. the inside was just tasty, and the outside rice paper was fresh (which i was a little surprised since we got there nearly at closing time) Definitely going back, the family (which i assume they are) waiting for us to finish, were very friendly as well!

Being Vietnamese, my expectations for this place were high. I haven’t tried a lot of places in Laval , but I can definitely say without a worry that this place is delicious and one of the best in the greater Montreal area. In fact , I am even willing to drive 20 mins on a weekly basis for my pho dose. The Dac Biet and Bun Bo Hue are pretty much a must here . On the other hand , they also have Vietnamese sandwiches! If you are fond about Vietnamese cuisine, definitely check this place out . Service is fast and meal is more than affordable for a date or family meal.

Ordered 2 spring rolls which was actually one that came cut into 2 pieces :/ there was no pork or beef, just shrimp and noodles. The sauce wasn’t standard peanut, it was like a dark paste. Ordered the standard rare beef pho. The beef was the frozen stuff you buy for fondue and had no flavour. Dark, chewy, bland. The broth was dark and had very little in the way of onion or coriander. Beef seasoning was definitely added to give flavour but it just made it taste unauthentic and lacking depth. You can smell and taste the star anise and some nutmeg but that’s about it. Very little fat.

At least it was cheap and the tax was included in the price. The service was subpar, we were given the wrong soup. We didn’t realize the error until after we added in our Thai basil at which point the server took our garnished bowls to another table.

Would...
