I held a private event in their Annexe space yesterday. Vasilios took amazing care of our group, effortlessly taking drink orders while clearing glasses and plates for over 35 people all on his own. He was quick on his feet to get extra food ordered for our party since the catering we ordered was not enough (we had a higher turnout than expected). We held brewery tours for our guests which was a big hit, many of our local attendees had never known this was an experience offered in town, so it was like uncovering a hidden gem for them. Afterwards we hosted our guests for drinks on the terrace. I highly recommend McAuslan for your next private event.

Normally this is nice place to go with friends during summer, good enough beer, ok food and cool mood. Now that we are just coming back out the lockdown there was no respect for social distance whatsoever. Crowded as hell like always. No interest of the staff in enforcing the rules. They simply didn't care. The only moment they care about something is when people where drinking in the open area with grass because inside there was too many people. That place is forbidden because apparently they are not licensed to have people drinking there. There's going to be an outbreak of covid here for sure if this continues as it is.

A great Bier garden. It's large, has a variety of food and beverages, and has a limited view of the canal. Plenty of beverage options, from soda, and hard cider, to IPAs and stouts. I prefer the lighter side, and got a black fruit cider (I tasted cherry, but they said it had blackberry too), and an apricot wheat.

Likely the best terrace in the city. It's always lively in the summer months, but that's also why I had to remove one star from them! They've become so popular that if you go after work, you'll easily have to wait 20+ minutes in a line to order your beer. If you get food, you can expect a 40+ minute wait.

They no longer allow dogs, which saddened me - I always used to appreciate people bringing theirs. Fortunately, it is family friendly, so people can bring their kids. There is tons of green space next door for them to run around.

Oh, also the...
