Extremely disappointing experience at this location
I’m a big fan of Pizza Toni and have come here at least 10 times just for the SGHP (Spicy Honey Garlic Pepperoni), which I love. But today’s visit was so frustrating, it completely ruined this location for me
I came specifically for the SGHP, but they only had it available as a full pie, not as a slice. I asked the (very polite) cashier if it was possible to just drizzle some honey on a regular pepperoni slice. He wasn’t sure, so he asked the manager
To my surprise, the manager said they’d have to charge extra just to drizzle honey. I explained that as a customer I couldn't have known they didn't have SGHP slices today, and asked if they could accommodate this simple request. Instead, he told me to go to a different location if I didn’t want to pay extra
Honestly, I’m shocked by the lack of basic customer service and flexibility here. Telling me I should go all the way to the other location was SO inappropriate. It would’ve taken literally seconds to add honey to a slice. Instead, they chose to nickel-and-dime over a drizzle of honey and lost my business.

Read moreOverall I thought the pizza was pretty excellent. I did takeout and tried Margherita , Vodka Pepperoni, Square Pepperoni and Square Fromage. They are cooked crispier which is how I prefer it but not burnt with my favorite being the square cheese and Vodka.
Each slice is about 6-7$ with tax so its not cheap but I think its worthwhile.
My only complaint was for takeout they stack the pizzas and the wax paper they use to separate each pizza stuck to all the pizzas and tore off cheese and meats but its new operation so hopefully things like that get worked out eventually.
There will justifiable comparisons to Welldun Pizza in Verdun and I could make a case for both places but for me personally slight edge to Welldun but not by much. In terms of closer competition it is considerably better than Fugazzi which is just...
Read moreAnother good discovery on Notre Dame W is Pizza Toni. Recommended by a Lachine Canal resident, the restaurant is conveniently located on Notre Dame between the St.Remi tunnel and De Courcelles. This branch of Pizza Toni is open only four months and along with the original branch is an extension of the owner of the successful Falafel Yoni chain (3) Serving NY style pizza, the result is a thin crusted, not oily, very moist, mild cheese pizza that is very light and delicious. While I have never tried sauces to augment any pizza, I capitulated. Both the spicy honey and the ranch dressings (sour creme /dill) were great recommendations. Pizzas range from $25 to$35 per pizza. While not cheap,I am surprised to say that their designer pies were well worthwhile Bravo Yoni and...
