We went for the Jeu de Montreal's swimming match in April 2018. The facilities were excellent with some bias in the locker rooms for the people who train permanently. The pools and diving boards are well maintained, the bleachers were reasonable by the pools. The seats for the non-swimming performances were very cramped together. I snagged a very good corner seat by getting to the award ceremony early. Their swim team was ridiculously good. So good in fact that there wasn't much of a point in competing if your child is from the other boroughs. I would like to know their training secrets. So if you are wondering where should I train a swimming champion sure train here, but if you are from another bourrough with a super star debating the fee to have your kid compete against them. I would pass unless you want to teach them how to lose with grace. I am very glad we rarely complete against these guys. We kept reinforcing its an honor to be selected to complete in the Jeu de Montreal because no one in our entire swim team placed and in our nearby teams only 1 child placed. Really very few children outside of the Claude Robillards team did. If I can say that idiot with the blow horn that blew his horn every time Claude Robillards team won. You are a completely obnoxious person the other parents on your team should be ashamed of your behavior and it should be discouraged. Your horn is far too loud and you were very clearly doing it to annoy people including babies. We all knew your team was better. I can't comment on the other facilities but the building appeared in a good condition. The parking also appeared...
Read moreThe facility is great been coming here for over 15 years to train. The problem here is the rules on the track which are sometimes ridicoulous. Ive been training every thursday morning since i bought the pass. Today the worker decides to tell me i have to sprint the other way on the straightaway when ive been running like this whole winter. Then he goes we not allowed sprinting on the track. Well how you want me to train if i cannot sprint? Its a track after all. There was no people on my area today and they decide to bother me. The way the track regulations are structured at this complex are stupid. We cannot take out eqiupement in the morning cause they dont wanna hire another worker to do it when all they do is sit there. Its already annoying enough that one side of the track we are not allowed to run in because its reserved for seniors which is fine. However telling me i cant do this and that is stupid when im not bothering anyone. Maybe your administration should do something rather then come up with these...
Read moreA great aquatic facility. Both underwater hockey and underwater rugby tournaments here have been fantastic.
French seems to be the first language here for staff even though I heard 80% of swimmers speaking English, and the rest Spanish and French.
There are summer camps for children; I saw clinics for long jump, fencing and soccer for children 5-10 years old.
The shower and bathroom facilities are clean.
It's sweltering inside, and unbearably warm in the pool area of you are a spectator.
There's a water play area behind the pool with sprinklers and water fountains. There's also a sand...
