Service far worse than advertised.

Hired holland home to open my mothers pool. They came to help set everything up and told me they would be able to get the water clear, pump running, and pool vacuumed.

The service was fairly expensive but with that sales pitch I was on board. They seemed to be a bit over booked and didn't communicate very much beyond the first interaction. Between putting chemicals in the water would start to come clear but gradually turn green again before they had the time to get back.

I had to call a few times to check when they would be returning to finish the job and they did keep coming back until the pool was clear and ready. The service was slower than expected but they did do as they promised so I was content with that.

Then a second bill came for additional chemicals and vacuuming. This came to a surprise to me because I had already paid before they even came the first time and at no point did they ever tell me there would be additional charges for cleaning the pool. I never expected additional charges because with my initial interaction i was left with the impression that making the water clear was included with opening the pool.

Calling customer service we were able to negotiate a smaller fee for the cleaning due to the miscommunication. Telling your customer that you plan to send them a bill for additional fees for work that could easily have been associated with the already paid for service strikes me as an extremely low bar for customer service that they've failed to meet.

Amazing from start to finish! We purchased an above ground pool and hot tub from Holland Home Leisure. They have been great from the start, Craig the salesperson listened to our needs, made recommendations and made the buying experience easy. We then did most everything over the phone and online as we live further away. Upon delivery “hot tub Dan” was great he was super informative and made learning the ins and outs of the hot tub so easy. Our pool was installed a our a month later and it too was no hassle. A few parts were missing from the box and they drove back out to fix it up shortly after, they even came back to add more gravel around the pool as they weren’t happy which was awesome! Bought a hot tub from another company and cannot stand their service. Came to Holland hoping to find some help with some questions and concerns and even though I didn't buy my hot tub from them they were so happy to help! Jennifer was the one who helped me more in 15 minutes than the place where I purchased my hot tub helped me in the whole purchase set up process! 5 stars for the customer service, products on hand and knowledge!!
