I experienced the worst Customer Service EVER!
-I contacted the Newmarket store Jan 16 for TV repair in the morning, no return call. I called in the morning again on Jan 17 and left a call back request. Dave called later in the day and ask about the problems I was having with the TV (an older rear projection) brand, model number etc. He said that he was not in the shop that day because of the weather and would get a quote on parts and call me back by Thursday Jan 19. Never called. I left an email message on their website, asking to be contacted ASAP. No reply. -Called Dave on Jan 24 and left a message to call me back. He called later that day asking for information on the TV again and contact info. He called on Jan 25 saying he was having problems getting the correct part info from supplier, and asked more detailed questions about model. He called later in the evening saying that he was still having problems getting parts, and wanted to come by and look at the unit, between 4:30 and 5 pm. Called at 5:30 and said he was running behind. I said that we were just about to have dinner. He said that he will stop by tomorrow 8:45 to 9 am. -He arrived Jan 26 at 9:30 and looked at the unit, and confirmed the repairs he thought were required, said that he would order parts tomorrow, and that they should be in next week (Feb 3).
-I told Dave that I was very unhappy about the length of time this repair was taking, and now had to wait another week!
-Dave said "I see that you are unhappy about the situation. Forget about it! This has been a waste of my time!", and left.

Read moreI waited a while before I wrote this , so I could be sensible . I took my amp in for a poping noise on start up. I paid 160 up front. They are not very good a communication and when you do talk to them you feel like you’re bothering them. In 8 months I think I got 2 calls from them. I was told in both occasions that the parts are in and they would be installed both times a week or so turn around fell through. They Had my item for 8 months after 8 months I was told to pick it up and paid another 220 so 380 total and to be clear work was done on the amp which was confirmed but the new place I brought it, so I don’t feel like I was scammed, but within 2 days of receiving it the issue had returned. I decided at that point that I would , even if I have to drive a while. I would try another tech. I brought it somewhere else 3 days later it was returned to me with the issue fixed and that was 5 months ago. I don’t think they are trying to rip people off or screw people out of there items. The owner is a nice guy, but I think the problem lies in the techs they use or sourcing of there parts. I do believe most people don’t understand that these vintage electronics can take a considerable amount of time to diagnosis and fix, but when you in the business of fixing things people expect there item to be fixed even if it takes a few months, so the fact that it wasn’t is why I writing this review. I don’t believe you should be worried using them, but I do hope that they improve there communication skills and be more up front with people when they ask “...
Read moreTreating your customers like they are mushrooms by keeping them in the dark and feeding them lies is not good business practice. Period. I'm afraid that the horror stories are 100% true. Your "deposit" is never refunded, and may be used towards a repair that will be done without communicating an estimate in actual dollars to yourself. The worst part is, you will wait, and wait, and wait, months. Your equipment, time, and resources all go into a black hole, while Humphrey's lead you down a primrose path of promises. A charade of optimism keeps you hopeful until one day, the promise that a "3rd degree black belt technician" is available on the next full moon to assess the issue. Here's the catch, your agreement is not followed up with an estimate, and you are blind to the cost of the repair. When (weeks if not months) down the road the unit is finally "fixed", they will only communicate how many hours the repair took. It's up to you to chase him further to get an actual dollar figure. By then he must figure you've lost interest, or will not fit HIS bill, so pockets your deposit AND the equipment in one swoop. Abusive. Avoid this scam, this is NOT how to...
