Recently went to the Book Riot at the Game Center. It was in Rink 3. It was very hot in there and there was only one fan that I saw blowing air into the rink, but it was near an outside wall in a corner. I know the rink usually has ice, but when there is an event not involving ice there should be more fans or an air conditioner. It was so hot my Mom felt like she was going to pass out. Thankfully one of the volunteers got her some water and some wet paper towels to cool her down and a few snacks. Read moreWent to the arena to see my granddaughter play ringette. The rink we ended up at was nice and the seats comfortable. I just wish I had taken a blanket as it gets cold even if you're only watching a game for 1 hour. The facility was clean and inviting. However, I almost fell over when I paid for a hot chocolate and a coffee. Highway-robbery prices, in my opinion. I don't know if it is allowed to bring your own treats... I was just visiting from out of town and was unprepared. The bathrooms were clean and there is ample parking, although you may have to walk a bit to get to the entrance. Read moreIt has somewhere you can get food, good heating, and the ice is managed well. The food is yummy they have fries, slushies, hotdogs, candy ect. The people who work there are exellant they are very polite I know all of this information because I play hockey at that arena. There is also a lot of seating there and you won't run out of chairs but even if you do (somehow) the staff will provide you with more. There's a bathroom there, a track and there's a second floor.
