We went around 6 pm on Saturday (they close at 8:30). We tried to order the Gamjatang and we were told they were sold out because a big group of tourists had visited earlier in the day. Then we tried to order Jajangmyeon, and they had sold out of that as well.

So we ordered sundubu and were told it doesn't come with rice. It was 17.99 pre tax. The good thing about this dish was that it was delicious. But for 17.99, that portion was not great and served without rice, it's not worth it and is rather cheap of the restaurant.

We also ordered stir fried Udon for around 19.99. Also small portion and not worth it for the price at all.

I guess coming from Toronto, these prices and portions didn't do it for me. And I've never heard of Korean stew being served without rice at a restaurant so it weirded me out. On their website it says it's served with rice so maybe they were trying to scam us because we look like foreigners.

Their side dishes tasted good. We tried to get a refill on them one time, but got 3/5 refilled as I think the server had put two of them away.

Overall, tasty food, but portions were small and no rice was weird. Not worth eating here if you're coming from out of town. Maybe this is the norm...

I went to this Korean restaurant with my friends last week to experience reservations! We ordered bibimbap, tender pot and Korean fried chicken, which tasted very authentic. I especially like their bibimbap, the rice crust is crispy, the sauce is very tasty, and the side dishes are also rich. The fried chicken is crispy on the outside and sweet and spicy on the inside.

The waiter is very friendly and serves the dishes quickly. He comes over from time to time to add water and change plates. The restaurant environment is clean and the layout is very Korean style. It is suitable for friends to get together or for couples to have dinner.

The price is also reasonable, which is worth it for such quality. In short, it was a very satisfying dining experience, and I will try their barbecue...

Duru Korean Restaurant Niagara Falls is the best Korean Restaurant in the Niagara Region. This place is a hidden gem. The food, service and atmosphere is just incredible. The owners who are a couple are an amazing team. The husband is the cook and chef while his wife is the host and server. You feel welcome and appreciated. My go to is the Pork Bone Soup, the meat just falls apart from the bone and the soup is so flavourful. I mix the soup with the rice and itโ€™s a great combo. They also have the Jjang Bong (Spicy Seafood Noodle Soup) and Jja-Jang Myung (Korean Pasta) which popular and tasty. The complimentary side dishes are also delicious. I recommend Duru for anyone who want to experience a taste of...

**Edit** First photo is first order, second and third are recent order. I ordered tonight after my review from 11 months ago and when this tiny box came for my pancake I was shocked but hopeful. I was wrong when I opened and the pancake was in soggy pieces inside stacked haphazardly with a ton of oil seeping through them and in the bottom of the box. I am shocked at the difference in quality and out what I spent as it was inedible for us and bland. I ordered the Korean pancake as take out, it was incredible. Very fresh when it arrived, hot and crispy. The perfect balance of soft middle and crispy edge, loaded with seafood. Will definitely order again

Oh Lala! What a place to eat โ€œgamjatangโ€ (๊ฐ์žํƒ•) I hunt around Korean restaurants for the best gamjatang this one didnโ€™t disappoint, maybe the best in the Niagara area! (Not many to choose from). Iโ€™d recommend to order the one that is for two persons, the amount of meat is a bit enough, not little not overwhelming just right! The rest of the dishes were also good, I didnโ€™t tried them too much as I focus on my dish, but the Korean family enjoy it. The lady is very friendly and expressive so you will have a good time with her, but she might forget about your table ๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ˜… Place needs an upgrade soon!
