Having found out that EB Games had closed down my local store recently I was a bit hard pressed to find a similar location that didn't require me to fight indoor shopping mall traffic and would still offer the same quality of customer service I valued over the years at my local. I'd popped into the Oakville location a couple times throughout the years but recently have had to frequent them more often as a result of stores closing; overall, I can't say I've been disappointed at all with the customer service I've had here. I hate having to drive an extra 20-30 minutes now when it used to just be 5 minute drive but the team here is genuinely a pleasure to deal with and I will happily go out of my way to support the locations with great customer service.
Special thanks to Jason and especially Melissa. I've dealt with Melissa a few times now and she's always a delight to interact with. Honestly, some locations kind of make it feel like it's a hassle to help you or that you're being an inconvenience - and I've absolutely never had that experience with her. Always helpful, always polite, always cheerful - makes me enjoy actually shopping here.
I hope on the corporate side of things, upper levels of management will acknowledge and go out of their way to reward these employees to show how much they're appreciated. Without good customer service I might as well go to Walmart, Amazon or a bunch of other retailers instead (who do still offer free shipping options cough cough) but just for the excellent service I'll keep coming...

Staff such as Eric, are very welcoming, friendly and approachable. Furthermore I feel like the staff genuinely try to accommodate you as best they can.
As a result I'll pay a few extra dollars and support these guys rather than give amazon some more...
