Our experience at the London Childrens museum with the daughter and granddaughter was one of wonderment and good clean fun. I mean the place was 'clean'. It's obvious the staff takes great care in cleanliness as we even saw staff in closed off rooms cleaning toys, pads and mats. Very proper. The photos I took explain alot aboot the fun you and your children are going to have at the London Children's Museum. Its changed alot in 20 yrs and is aboot to change again. My photos have an Easter egg. A photo of the future fantastic play place known as 100 Kelloggs Lane, the new location. The Childrens Museum needs five million more to move to the new property after decades of being on Warncliffe Road in London. Now moving to 100 Kelloggs Lane, the old Kelloggs factory. We were there for two hours although it didn't seem that long. It never does when your having tons of fun with the family. We stopped at the tuck shop on the way out to grab some polished rocks in a velvet pouch and a tube of dinosaurs🦕. Awesome fun with pics and souvenirs. It does my heart glad to see the old Kelloggs factory which once wafted the sweet smells of cereal all over London. Now is used to entertain children and bring families closer together. Take a pilgrimage to the LCM before the change over and see the old and then experience the new. Luv Malcom💪😎🩷Stay strong London.

It makes me sad to read so many negative comments, and comments on SILLY things like paint peeling or the future new location.🤦♀️😓 Yes, there may have been "old" things or "tired" things here, but you will only notice them if you go looking for them negatively. Also, if there are little to no funds coming in, how can those things be updated? Aren't the best things the NOT new things? The point is to learn and have fun. Kids can have fun anywhere and not care if something is new or not, and adults could learn a lot from them, if we put our phones away for awhile. Enjoy the little moments, not the high quality of something.😒 This was our first time visiting, and we had a blast. I came here last week with my daughter and some friends for a PD day excursion. There is so much to see and do for both kids AND adults alike. 3 floors of different rooms and exhibitions, and each room with some fun photo ops, activities, and interesting facts and information boards. I really enjoyed the star show, but it was cut short by the kids who wanted to go back to playing.🤣🤷🏼♀️ Our littles had the best time in the tiny town area, and we would still be there today if we didn't drag them out to go home.🤣❤️ We will definitely come back next year to check out the new location.🙌🏼

My four year old rated the museum 4/5 because more slides would have been better😂 I would agree. It’s a fantastic place for our little people, a combination of fun, history and nature if you consider the trails around. The setting of the museum and the multiple levels keeps things interesting for kids for sure. My favourite section was the looking back in time section, my 2yr old loved the space section and the suspended astronaut and my 4yr old loved the slide😅 All sections are interesting for 2-8yr range I’d say overall. Cons - some of the sections are tired and in need of tlc. Also not much for younger kids like a soft play area. Not many options for food (some ice cream) and a small gift area that I didn’t explore. Staff at front are young and quite disinterested. They didn’t even ask how old my kids were just told us a total for 4 people admission (my youngest could have paid $5.50). There’s options for hosting parties and we could see multiple parties happening during our visit. What a super fun location! I’m out of town but would love to host here one day!

This place is amazing loved it! only problem is it cost almost $50 for me my wife and my two girls. (But better staff communication and marketing is needed). Because they also have a season pass that's $145 but they didn't mention that when you get there. And it's not really front and centre for you to see. even though we told them it was our first time since it is so pricey I feel like they should offer it where if it's your first visit and you pay and you like it so much you want to get a pass you deduct that 50$ off the season pass and get the season pass. because it only makes sense as long as you're going to visit there at least three times or at the very least make sure people are aware of it. And the staff were a bit placid they don't go out of the way for anything. I when I was trying to get a cup to buy a coffee for change. So my girls could use a couple of the interactive micro attractions that you need coins for. I stood there and 2 out of 3 staff seen me and just didn't say anything. But as far as for your children awesome

We were in the area and thought we would pass by. We were not sure what to expect with this being in London. We went to the Strong museum for children in Rochester NY last year and we all loved it. We were not totally expecting the same especially it being in London ON. Loved that it was in an old school. The building itself is pretty neat. We have a 6 and 9 yr old. I would say the 6 yr old had a better time here. Some of the same themes as The Strong but at a much smaller scale and less detail. The star constellation show was pretty cool. Note, the viewing room.is quite small and there is not much seating. With the amount of people in the museum this day there was not much of an issue with space. My sons favourite exhibit was the dinosaurs and my daughters was the the while museum. Her word. Anyway for the $9 entry fee for adults of children it was all right. You can be done the whole museum in about 2 hrs. If you have time to kill and the kids need a change of scenery that I would recommend the LCM. Happy days!!!

We made an unplanned visit to this museum last weekend. It doesn't look like much from the outside but it's a decent size on the inside. For the price, it's ok, especially on a rainy day. The problem is, a lot of it is tired and dated or broken. But through the kids eyes, it's probably not as bad. With their move to Kellogg's Lane coming in the future, I'm sure they won't shell out much money to this building, which is why it's hard to give it 5 stars when we all know it's about a 3 now. Among the things to do here are: an old classroom, a dinosaur area, a hallway of caves to explore, an arctic area, a London Hydro hub area for kids to play with power and a also dress up area where kids can pretend to be a chef, banker, mailman, handy man, among other things. It's definitely worth a visit, on a rainy day like I mentioned. I'm sure your little one will have a good time for an hour or two. 3/5. Can't wait for the move to Kelloggs. _____________________________ Follow me for more reviews, tips and photos!
