Quite the experience! You order food from the kitchen counter, which offers a wide variety of seasonal options, and a number of staples like smash burgers and Nashville hot chicken sandwiches. A little electronic puck let's you know when your food is ready. Drinks are brought to your table by a server. Smash burgers are awesome! Some of the best I've had. Served on a brioche bun, that are baked in-house, and are next-level. So soft and delicate, but up to the task of holding the burger together. Very impressive! Nashville hot chicken was great, according to my lunch partner. Looked tasty, although the picture is not very good. I could smell the spice from across the table! The beer is brewed on-site and is really good. Double Trouble Blonde Ale was no trouble at all! So many options, all of which are probably delicious. The location is in a huge building, with an indoor climbing center. Plenty of parking on-site and across the street. I think it was a PA day, so there were lots of activities going on, but we still found parking. I hope to be back and try some more menu items.

Even Better the Second Time! I came back to The Beer Kitchen Kellogg with my family, and it was even better than before! The pizza has definitely improved – super tasty and perfectly cooked. We enjoyed the same great atmosphere, with excellent attention from the staff, good music, and delicious craft beer. The Friday deal for pizza and a pitcher is still one of the best in town. A perfect place to relax and share quality time with loved ones. Can’t wait to return again!

I have been to the beer kitchen serval times and have never had the kind of experience I did today. I will occasionally after walking my dog head there with her and a friend with a dog to have a drink and it has NEVER been an issue(we asked the first time to make sure it was okay after seeing other dogs there) Today we did the same thing we would normally do ordered our food and then sat at a table near by to wait for it. No one said anything to us about the dogs when we ordered food, or walked in.

Immediately after we sat down the manager approached us and informed us that the dogs were not allowed and we would need to sit out side. I asked if this was a new policy as I had been in the previous week and had no issues. He said no ( I have gone several times with friends and 5-6 dogs and never had an issue for over a year) there had never been dogs there; I pointed out I had been there recently with in the last week with my dog and hadn't had an issue. We then said if it was a problem we will cancel our order and leave. He said no don't do that and had us move to the back of the seating area.

If dogs aren't aloud that's fine; we will just go elsewhere as there are other locations that are dog friendly nearby. The server that we had afterword was also really rude. When I questioned again about the policy change and brought up I had been there the week before she accused me of lying saying she had worked the previous week and hadn't seen me. I almost felt like pulling up my bank statement to prove I had been there.

Needless to say it was a very bad experience, regardless of if the dogs were allowed or not. If they weren't, no problem we were going to just cancel our order and leave. It was how we were treated after asking about the policy change that really made it a negative...

Went last night for dinner and drinks prior to a show at The Century Club. We were seated quickly as we had a reservation. Sat for about 10 minutes before we realized we had to go to the Food Counter to place our order and we were given a buzzer to let us know the food was ready. This was our fault, it tells you on the menu and we didn’t notice. Food was made quickly and was hot and good. We had the Smash Burger, Fish and Chips, Wagyu Bolognese and the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich. Everyone agreed that they liked their meals. The issues were with the service. After we realized we needed to order food at the counter we asked the hostess if we also needed to order our drinks at the bar since no one had approached us. She told us no, a server would help us. We waited about 15 minutes before someone came and took our order. We ordered 2 beer flights and a Sweet and Spicy Margarita. Drinks then took quite a while to come. My wife enjoyed her marg and our beer flights were just ok. The beer isn’t something I would return for. Server never came back and I had to go find her to order a second round. She did apologize saying they were “really short staffed” It didn’t appear to be all that busy but maybe that was just our observation. Would we return? Maybe for the food but not for the beer or service.

Follow up - spoke to manager via email. Offered us a gift card to return. Hopefully a better...
