I can't speak for other programs taught/offered by this university, but MMB was the worst experience of my life. If you want to learn something (for $40k, or even more now), stay away from MMB or even better, run, like you would run for your life.
What they bring as students of this program is beyond any explanations. These people (the ones I went to school with and some that I know from previous cohorts) never kept it as a secret they are here for PR, not for learning something (making 99% of these people non-genuine students automatically. They were looking at me like I was insane when I was telling them I applied to this program to learn something.
What that translates into? An absolutely terrible attitude, blatant cheating, and a very toxic environment to be in, if you are there for the knowledge.
I will not even mention the manners of these people. At the may 2023 convocation session- everyone with the exception of me and other 2 people left after getting their diplomas (after walking over the stage) while other people were walking or waited to walk, when we were specifically told to get back to our seats and wait until everyone walks over the stage (and you don'thave to believe me. Go look at the 6 pm convocation ceremony from May 30th, 2023. You can see it there). I have never been more ashamed to be associated with such a program.
I was in the US higher education system for almost 10 years, and I have never seen anything like that anywhere. Not even in a community college. This is supposed to be a Masters program and grown-up attitudes.
All of this - for $40k out of your pocket. So, if anyone was thinking about this program , please do yourself a favor and stay...

While I understand that the Master of Management program is not one of the main priorities of this school, I did not think it would treat students this badly. This is the first time I have seen students unable to pick their classes to suit their timetable because the school doesn't feel like it. Professors would just read slides and understand only theories. When we asked them about the real-life application, they couldn't explain and said: "what I said is only theoretical." Student intake is so bad that when you assign team projects, you always get paired up with people who either have lazy work ethics, never show up, or don't understand English enough to comprehend what needs to be done. On top of that, there's no requirement to become a teacher assistant (TA). The TA that these professors help will grade your exams outlandishly and dish out serious accusations such as plagiarism incorrectly. Many friends of mine suffered from severe depression due to these accusations, only for them to retract later and offer a simple apology. They should get sued for this; you can't just accuse people of academic dishonesty without proof.
Also, on the first day of school, many students from our country asked the staff in the CAW why the school did not hang the correct flag of our country. We got the response of: "maybe, not everybody likes Communism" from the lady at the front desk. So much for diversity...
Read moreI came to UWindsor from out of town. SO GLAD I DID! This has got to be one of the most underrated Universities! I cannot say enough about everything here. Quality Education, Helpful Services, Extracurricular, Affordability, even just walks/jogs along the riverfront... I love this place! Being in my third year here now, I'm hoping to move here permanently once I'm done school (but I'm doing a graduate degree here so that will be a while still). I really fit right into the scene though and it was easy to become comfortable here from the beginning. If I had to be critical I would say that I wish they would expand the university area even more. They've done lots of renovations and have a lot of new buildings and exciting projects/things going on; the new engineering building/faculty is absolutely incredible. I think they need more buildings like that! They need to clean up some neighbouring areas around the university too... Some are beautiful, like the older style homes and streets that have so much character, and others have the potential to be so nice but they just...
