I love this little park for some seriously underrated views of the west side of the bridge.
There is a playground and some swings there for little ones to play on and tons of seating. There is lots of parking, but keep in mind the big lots on the left side (coming towards the water) are meant for vehicles with trailers.
Bring a blanket if you're going to sit back on the grass, per most parks around here, geese run rampant and so does the mess they leave behind. But it's good to hang out in, and you'll find it pretty busy with postsecondary students.

Read moreIt's a nice park with a beautiful view, but there's a lot of goose poop and i've seen it flood more than once. The park is usually coverd in litter and the beach is never clean. Lakewook park in Tecumseh is very similar with a small beach but much better maintained. I'd rather drive the 30mins to let my dogs swim there vs Mckee park which is a 5 minute drive.
