Andrew Haydon Water Park and Playground — Attraction in Ottawa

MY favorite park! There is so much wildlife. The sun rise and sun set are both incredible here. On the weekends is packed with families and often community or charity activities. I love walking my dogs there. No one is suposed to ride their bikes through there so it's nice and calm. Ottawa has so much nature.. we're so lucky! The only crappy thing is that there's lots of bird turd! I've asked them to get their machine to clean that back up and running.. so lets see...

I’ve been living in the Ottawa Gatineau region for a while now and I feel I’ve visited most of the local parks and recreational areas. This is one place though I have yet to visit until now. This is a great local park. There are picnic areas, play structures and a small water park. The park is right along the Ottawa/Outaouais River and near a sailing club. It's a beautiful place for a walk in nature. There are several paved walkways. The park is popular with people of all ages, including newlyweds (for photos), artists (open air painting) and musicians (band shell)....
