I recently encountered a distressing situation with Walmart's customer service when attempting to return an item, and I must say it left me feeling incredibly disillusioned and dissatisfied with their Customer Service associates and procedures.
Upon realizing the item I had purchased wasn't needed, I went to Walmart's customer service to request a return and refund. Little did I know the hassle I was about to endure in my pursuit of a simple resolution. The CSM I spoke with immediately took on a defensive tone, making it abundantly clear that granting my request was not on their agenda.
Despite providing all the necessary details and explaining the reason, the CSM seemed determined to deny my return. They went as far as insinuating that the items weren't on the receipt even though I had the digital receipt with me and all the tags.
To make matters worse, the CSMs showed a complete lack of empathy and understanding, displaying a blatant disregard for customer satisfaction. Instead of approaching the issue with a solution-oriented mindset, they started speaking their native language ignoring me (The customer), my husband wanted to get this issue resolved so he asked to speak with another associate. He spoke with the courtesy Desk Associate who was able to process our return. Somehow the items appeared to be on the receipt and the UPC matched. It literally took us 30 minutes, 2 CSMs and 1 courtesy desk associate to get our issue resolved. Bayshore Walmart need to do better!
In conclusion, I must discourage others from relying on Store #3066 customer service for any kind of resolution. Their unwillingness to accept responsibility, rigid adherence to policies that undermine customer satisfaction, and dismissive approach to genuine concerns greatly diminish their credibility as a retailer. I wholeheartedly urge potential customers to be aware of Walmart's dismal customer service track record, as it is a clear indication of their disregard for consumer rights and satisfaction.

Read more28th April 2024 around 3PM, I visited with my son. My son was taking trial of bycycle in milk aisle. I admit he refused to get off when an non Hindi speaking person asked him, because my son doesn't speaks English and doesn't understand English.
Then non hindi speaking employee asked an hindi speaking employee to translate and she translated in very humiliated way. Then an healthy Indian employee appeared and confirmed that my son used word "SHUTUP" while he sad "CHUP HO JAO" which means keep quiet and supported his colleagues and he was so furious and started threatening me, I was afraid he could HIT me. Then they called security and asked them to kick me out just because I found their behavior unacceptable and resisted that. The security person was quiet understanding and let me shop around with him but I noticed that the staff was adamant and furious. While I was heading off for checkout the same staff had gathered in group and trying to provoke me for an argument with them by giving me threatening looks. I felt threatened. Security person noticed that and advised me to ignore them. I am a regular customer of walmart. I never expected such behavior from an employee in a Canadian setting.this was due to a preset mind set of those Indian employees to not give any value to any Indian atleast(I am an indian too) .also they found an easy target to take out their work frustration.and what's more that it was targeted on a 6 year child.he got terribly terrified!!!!! What a shame!!!! He is repeating since then that he will never ride a bicycle because he is relating this to the incident and thinking it's his fault. It's highly traumatic for both me and my son. Read moreI wanted to return an item I purchased online. (I bought it over 30 days ago.) First of all when I approached cust Svc the lady never smiled or asked me what I needed. She just stared at me waiting for me to say something. I explained to her what I wanted, she just turned her back on me and went to the computer. I waited for at least 5 minutes for her to speak to me. Finally I asked her if there was a problem, she simply replied the computer was slow. So I waited. In that time another employee arrived and started talking with her, it was not in English. Their conversation lasted at least 19 minutes, In that time the cust Svc rep totally ignored me, during their conversation the computer accessed the proper screen. The rep never even looked at it. Finally I cleared my throat and tepee rep looked at the screen, typed in my order number and said to me it was past the 30 days and she could not take it back. I told her that was not suitable ( by now my patience had run out). Again she said said she could not take it back, I asked her to give me a store gift card. She refused, told me not to be rude to her. I lost it, told her her cust Svc was awful and I would contact the store manager. Well I did the next day and was promptly put on hold for 20 minutes before I hung up. My issue has not been resolved. AlsoI had asked about weeks ago about returning items and was told not everything was being accepted. I also try to stay away from stores as I am immune compromised. I finally got my 2nd vaccine so I figured it was time to return the item.
