Expensive and unclear pricing just tap a card and credits disappear. No, those credits that you're winning back are not to play more games. They are to get little bubblegum machine toys. Unless you really want to spend a lot of money and go a lot of times and save up these credits, you go, you play your games and you leave. Don't aim for a prize. Don't even aim for a number of or time you can play cause it all depends what you play. And as I said, not everything is very well marked for what it being removed. 2hrs play nothing used more than 35cr $150ish with tax and card that level lasted 2 hours could be gone in 30min depending what you play.
Accessibility equivalent to games at a fair. Need to be able to self transfer. And they may not let you. So basically, wheelchairs are left.Only the arcade area and only certain arcade games and still a hundred and fifty dollars.Only lasted two hours. I have a taller wheelchair, smaller wheelchairs wouldn't even have been able to do basketball, different types of bowling, axe, throwing that kind of thing. So a child in a wheelchair could be limited very, very limited in what they would be able to reach and do if an adult is. They claim to be accessible except for a few rides. That's ableboddied accessible. Will I go back not to waste my own money? If someone else pays for it, yeah knowing that i'm limited to what I can do.I wouldn't pay my own money.
We had pre purchased a card and they couldn't find it.It everyone had to go ahead of me.It took two thirty to sixteen minutes for them to find I left.I actually left, and I called the worker to say, where's the card? They said it's not here. And they came out while I was waiting for para to come back so I also would not recommend leaving a card for somebody as they may not be able to find it.When the person comes to get it. Yes, it was saturday.Yes, I was the first person in line. They should have been able to find it.I had to wait till the end of the line. And then they couldn't point me where I wanted to go.They actually pointed me to the wrong games. And then they told me that I wouldn't be able to play most of the games because i'm in a wheelchair. It was not the most pleasant of the beginning of the experiences once I left the people that worked there and was on my own.And found what I was looking for it was okay but I wasn't able to get any assistance from the staff and they weren't able to find the prepaid card that was waiting. When I got there, staff was very incompetent. For a saturday which was gonna have birthday parties.Unfortunately, it was sad.And I had to be by myself to be able to be functional, but they weren't able to help me at all, find what I was looking for. So if your able body able to walk around, look around, find what you're looking for go for it.But if you're in a wheelchair, really question. If this is where you wanna go and what is your reasoning for going before you go?If it's to waste a hundred dollars throwing a few balls and getting a couple of candies, then that's the place for you to go.But that's all, it will be.If you're in...
Read moreThis place has really become a place that seeks profits 📈 above everything else as reflected by the photos showing how (the status you need to visit)sky high the price have become seeing that last year it was $240 for 1670 credits and now it's $300. Don't get me wrong, as there are fun things to do here, but unfortunately, ownership considers profits before cleaning up (dusty fixtures balls not disinfected etc.) fixing broken items like the air guns in the jungle gym since the beginning of 2020 as there's many other games constantly malfunctioning or just being turned off. After some that haven't worked for years were finally changed it meant that the average game is around 15.8credits to play and I accepted that prices were more than the old midway, seeing that they had different attractions and midway closed down, so it left them in a unique position where there was no direct competition 🤔. The question I was asked is if this is a good place for children and it could be if it wasn't more focused on profits seeing that it's $55 for 240 credits and it costs 280 credits to play laser tag and roller coaster one time each for a family of four lasting 10mins total for both. Funhaven knows that there isn't any competition anywhere nearby and raised prices 40% without increasing the value of the credits you receive and, in fact, increased the cost of credits to play individual games. Profits over fun should be explained to consumers who have supported the business from inception. If you're fortunate enough to go when it's beyond crowded because everyone wants to attend the 5pm to closing half priced Tuesdays, then you'll find out how expensive it really is. The ownership beforehand would offer deals on Groupon or in-house and now that they hired new Staff like Jaiden who won't even have management come to the front because customers are marginal and staff are instructed to repeat the prices and are providing you what is clearly shown behind them just further proves that profits 📈 over all is their new motto. After stating what this place has become I emplore the owners to remember that loyal customers that have been there from the beginning and has supported you throughout has never complained or had anything negative to say should never feel like your only objective is to get the money from my pockets. Even if YOU'RE A new OWNER and don't know us, please know that customers who want you to prosper shouldn't have to feel like they were taking advantage...
Read moreWent with my family and had a tooooon of fun. There is a lot of amazing games to play and we loved all the options of activities.
Pros: -the VR games were AMAZING! I loved the groove rider and zombie game. -Laser tag course was epic! -My kids loved the rollercoaster even though they're a bit older -Tons of options for games -One of the smoothest air hockey tables ever -Loved the arcade version board games -I love that the old favourites are still there and in good working order (DDR, Harpoon fish game, etc) -Dark ride was super cool -The place was packed but there was always a game open to play so lots of options.
Cons: -We went to sign up for an escape room and had to go online to do it but their QR code didn't work so we looked it up. No big deal. We had to email our request and wait for a response which kind of left us feeling in the dark about what we should do in the meantime or if we would even get our slot. A simple sign up booth would be much better.
-when we asked how to sign up for laser tag, the staff simply said to go wait in the hall. We waited for about 25-30 minutes and had no idea what we were waiting for or if a staff was coming because no one explained further.....so we didn't know if we should leave or not. My son went to ask for details and was told to just wait in the hall. The timer went off on the door after a bit and still we waited another 10 minutes. No one came out to check on us. Finally another group came out and we were allowed in. The laser tag was one of my favorite parts! I loved the maze and my wife had a blast. It was her first time playing laser tag. The kids enjoyed it a lot.
-The thing that irritated me the very most is that Funhaven is open until ten and they started shutting off games at 8:45. I went to play a couple games in the back and they were shut off. Not cool considering the amount you pay to go there.
-A few times, the games double scanned my card and took my credits for only one game.
-staff were.....just alright. No one looked very happy to be there. I get it. Customer service sucks...
