Shepherd's Fashions — Attraction in Ottawa

As I continue to reflect back on my visit to Shepherd's last week, I have come to realize how valuable my style consultation was with Primal.

When I decided to make the trip from Maine to Ottawa, I also decided to give myself the gift of having someone to help me make better choices for me, and my closet. I'm so glad I did this and I'll tell you why.

When I walked into Shepherd's everything was so beautiful and enticing. Absolutely everything was calling my name..."Diane...over here. Pick me...and me...and me!" I wanted it all! Now obviously I didn't NEED it all. None of us do, but the temptations are real.

Having contacted Primal for a style consultation, she replied with a series of questions designed to focus my time spent at Shepherd's. This caused me to pause and reflect on what my needs were as well as my desires. She asked me about my style (there is an online quiz on their website to help you figure that out, if you aren't already aware). There were also questions about my figure as well as my desires.

I spent several days going through my closet and pondering what was missing that prevented me from creating looks that I loved. I made a list of these missing items and sent it to Primal along with what I knew about myself and my style. Actually I sent several emails to her as my vision of what I was looking for became more clear.

When I arrived at Shepherd's I was greeted and introduced to Primal who had a rack full of items for me to consider. She had collected all the "missing" components to help my wardrobe work for me, as well as pieces that she would suggest to further expand what I already owned. I was thrilled. I recall saying, I love this, and this, and this!

Now it was time for me to try the clothing on to verify fit and feel on me. I was in love with the new scrub line that Shepherd's was rolling out that week. I knew it was a big part of what I was missing to make my closet work for me. I tried it on. The feel was amazing! I wanted it all, and honestly needed these pieces too. I learned that I am a size small in the shell, a medium in the jacket and a large in the pant. Had I never gone into the store I would likely have ordered all one size assuming that was right. When my order would have arrived I likely would have felt less than thrilled with the fit, but I wouldn't have realized that simply by switching around sizes I could create the perfect fit for ME!

Primal gently guided me throughout this process making suggestions for accessorizing what was to become my new core wardrobe. She suggested various ways of mixing and matching pieces that would works best on ME.

Having gone through this process with Primal, I have gained a new found sense of self confidence!!! I know that what I am wearing is presenting me in my best light. This is such an invaluable gift, and it is a gift that is free at Shepherd's to all of us...simply for the asking! I highly recommend a trip to Shepherd's to anyone. You will NOT regret it...I...

Imagine you had the opportunity to shop with your best friends, the friends who wait on you hand and foot! The friends who make suggestions on what to try and which to buy! The same friends who only have your best interests at heart! Well ladies if that sounds wonderful then visit Shepherds Fashions in the Trainyards, Ottawa, Canada! Every staff member is trained on style personality where once they know your personality type, after asking a few questions, they can suggest styles that make you feel like a million dollars. The staff have also been trained in knowing about body types and what styles hide what you want hidden and accentuate your assets! Yes ladies, this place is truly the one stop place to shop! I travel 6 hours to shop here and I feel so at home each and every time! Can’t make the trip to the shop...not a problem! They have a fabulous website and staff who will shop virtually with you! They’ll select articles of clothing, photographs the pieces and send the shots to you or they even do FaceTime if you book an appointment! They ship all over the world so no matter where you live you can have their fashions shipped to you! Did I mention they have live videos showcasing fashions, designers, and they even give away gift cards! I know, it sounds too good to be true! Shepherds Fashions changed my life! Fashion was never important to me……. I had no interest whatsoever in clothing. Then, 13yrs ago, I was in a serious car accident, where I sustained a catastrophic head injury. At the age of 52, my life changed forever. I had no idea who this new person was. I had been a wife, mother, nurse, friend but all of that changed. During COVID, I came across Shepherds’ videos, quite by accident. I was captivated by them. I looked forward to them daily.
