Terrible customer service and the worst food. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE! The manager will diagnose you with covid if you complain about the food. Unbelievable.
The whole experience was terrible. When we ordered, the cashier wasn’t paying attention and kept getting it wrong. We had to keep repeating our orders. We ordered a pad see ew and tom yum soup, the pad see ew noodles were watery and undercooked and both dishes barely had any flavour. When we watched them cook our food, they had no idea what they were doing. The cook was just guessing when the noodles were ready and said this out loud. We brought the food back to complain and the manager, Joe, came out and asked us "what do you want?" We told him the food is undercooked and has no flavour. His response was “MAYBE YOU HAVE COVID" and kept going on with the covid to Asian customers, continuing with "well I don't know what you have but you can't taste and that's a covid symptom." He was so rude the whole time and had to argue with us. He wouldn’t accept the criticism and at this point we just wanted a refund. He kept bragging about how this location is the busiest and the food here is good before giving us...
Read moreI went to get stir fry from this place as I have always got from other Thai Express locations (first time here) they poured the stir fry into the box with some on the lid and nasty presentation. I asked the chef for a bowl as I was eating in. He was about to give me a plastic bowl but some woman from the back came running and yelling 70 cents 70 Cents. she wanted money for a clean bowl. I didn’t. Then I had to ask for utensils. She hands me a single bent plastic fork with food stain on it, I ask for chop sticks she sighs and gives me one and there are no napkins anywhere to be found. I go back and ask if they have napkins. Someone else hands me ONE napkin. Food was same as anywhere else but I don’t know what was happening with service. In other thai express locations (specific example, terry fox location) they have normal plates and ceramic bowls for eat in and very clean boxes and bowls for take out. They bring your food to your table for eat-in with a smile like normal restaurants. I’d never be back to Train...

My wife and I went in hoping to have a quick dinner. Ordered chicken fried rice, basil style. No egg. The cashier takes my money and we move down the line to watch it get made. The cashier makes up the ingredient bowl. Rice, carrots, green onions and chicken. Then passes the bowl to the fry cook. I ask "hey I just wanted to check if I said no egg or no basil", "you said no egg", "then can I have some basil in my basil fried rice".... "we are out of basil." My wife and I look at each other, unsure of what just happened. The decision is clear. "We don't want it - can I just get a refund?" The worker says " let me ask". The fry cook comes over and refunds me cash (I had paid with Visa). Most notably, not a single apology was made. I like Thai Express. I do not like the audacity they had to attempt serving me a dish missing ingredients.
