Mucho burrito in the Train Yards is undeniably the best burrito spot in Ottawa. For someone who loves burritos as much as I do, it's more than just a place to grab a meal; it’s a weekly ritual, a cherished Friday tradition I make it a point to be there, and the staff knows my order by heart. There's a comforting familiarity in that, a sense of belonging that makes each visit special.
One might wonder why I’d drive 15 minutes to Mucho burrito when there’s another burrito place just around the corner from my workplace. The answer is simple: the service, the smiles, and the warm, welcoming atmosphere. Each time I walk through the door, it feels like coming home for a meal. The staff’s friendliness and the quality of the food make every extra minute of the drive worth it.
It's not just about the burritos themselves, though they are undoubtedly delicious. Mucho burrito in the Train Yards offers an experience that goes beyond food. It's about the connection, the little moments of recognition and warmth that turn a regular meal into something extraordinary. For anyone in Ottawa looking for not just a burrito but a place that feels like home, Mucho burrito in the Train Yards is...
Read moreI've been to this location before and had good service and even better food. I went on and on about it to a friend and she loves quesadillas and the ad in the window offers "free chips n salsa: for dine in with the purchase of an entree. Perfect! When we ordered the woman was very abrupt and the other more concerned with uber eats orders. Ok, but we're right in front of you. The quesadillas was HUGELY lacking in the queso part... hardly any cheese AT ALL. The vegetables were just all green peppers and we're grossly undercooked. Basically they were raw, warm peppers. The rice in my burrito was undercooked as we're the black bean. I should have had refried I guess. When I asked for our chips and salsa, I was told I had to buy them and the refills were free... ummm, ok? But that's not what the ad says and is what drew us in. So all in all, I won't be going back to this location anyway and what could have been a new customer in my friend is not only lost but will likely share that negative review with others. Very...
Read moreI used to love going to Mucho Burrito back in the day, but had to take a step away from them once they started charging for guacamole for vegetarian burrito and bowls.
I returned back when I saw they were offering some cool burrito bowls over the Summertime. They had cool things like chickpea fritter balls and pickled red onions that you could add into your bowl. That promo did not last long until a new seasonal promo came out with new toppings. The problem is, this location is constantly out of toppings that are being promoted online. Those cool seasonal toppings are what makes Mucho Burrito stand out, otherwise, its pretty much the same as other burrito joints in Ottawa. Every time I go, I get disappointed, so again, I am taking a step back for now.
It's an OK place otherwise, there is just no point in making any special trips to this restaurant anymore when they are constantly...
