Easy parking and close to airport. This place is getting less and less of T n T that I know. Most produces and items are from China now so the excitement for me to shop for Taiwanese specific items is diminishing each time. ( April 2023 update) Ready food section is excellent. However their process does not make sense. You order your food at good counter, then go to a separate cashier to pay and then need to go back to the food counter WAIT IN LINE AGAIN AND THEM show your receipt and tell them you PAID …. So that they would start preparing your food. …. That is a very slow and redundant process creating unnecessary wait time. Perhaps if they can have the cashier which is located right next to the noodle soup counter to let food counter know to start food preparation …..(just an idea) The bakery used to be more versatile but now they don’t seem to create nor bake as good as before. However, they do still have a good take out counter with a divers choices of foods and dishes. Most are not available at any other places in Ottawa so if you crave specific small dish item, this is the place to go.

A myriad of delicious food choices. Their home delivery has a lot of coupons but I noticed some items were not available on the website despite being in store. The shoppers chose good vegetables for me. You can use the free small baskets inside the store on the left when you enter. They are more maneuverable than big carts and hold a lot. But if you’re shopping alone and can’t carry more than one basket need a big cart, consider bringing a loonie. Their hot foods are good, especially their cold dishes with chilli that are seran wrapped. Their Vietnamese subs are good (next to the sushi near the door) sometimes they have the spicy version with a chilli pepper but they tend to put fast. Their pho broth from Quoc Viet Foods gives you really good tasting pho, just boil the soup mix in a huge pot of water even without beef bones and add cilantro and green onions. Pair it with t and t beef tendon balls, hot pot slices, hoisin sauce, sriracha and lemon and you have homemade pho that will last you for days.

T&T Supermarket is one of my go-to places for grocery shopping, especially when I want to find a variety of Asian ingredients that are hard to get elsewhere. The store is always clean and well-stocked, with a huge selection of fresh vegetables, fruits, seafood, and meats. I love the bakery section, they have the softest buns and the best Asian pastries, and they’re always fresh. Their hot food section is a lifesaver on busy days. Whether you’re craving sushi, dumplings, or a quick rice or noodle dish, they’ve got you covered. Plus, they carry a wide range of snacks and pantry items from across Asia, so it’s great for trying something new or stocking up on favorites. The staff are helpful, and it’s easy to find what you need thanks to how organized everything is. T&T makes grocery shopping fun, especially if you’re into exploring different cuisines. Highly recommend it for both daily essentials and unique finds!

Doesn't have a lot of stuff or popular stuff found in Asia, maybe due to supply chain issues, but I do love the food and bakery section. There is a genuine creativity and soul to it, and it's appreciative; rush hours are fun, their hot food section often gets emptied out under an hour, and I often get the feeling of being transported to an Asian food market there. They also maintain good standards across those sections. There is an efficiency factor as well, I thought only Germans had that characteristics. However, I wished they mentioned the spices and sauces used to marinate or cook them along with the description for customers sake. Can't say much about the fresh fish section, there are other Asian shops that sell fresher looking fish than they do. Much better option would have been to sell them as packed frozen fish or as consumable products. There is a false thought that Asian stores might sell stuff at an affordable price, due to the cost labour being low, but that is not the case, prices are toe in toe with Canadian grocery prices. They do seem like they stock all the essential items needed, and do have a lot of fresh fruits and veggies that could not be seen in regular Canadian stores. Getting to and out from there by bus is hard, but that doesn't seem to affect the rush at all. I found that they have a lot of skincare products that have centella asiatica in it, and I thought Sephora didn't have products with that as an active ingredient because it was hard to source. Overall, it's uniquely different and nice. I wished other communities had stores like this with products common in their countries. The uncommon one's that are not available through...

Drove by on a Saturday, around 4 PM, parking lot was FULLL! Luckily, someone was leaving and I didn't have to look long for parking. Exactly like all other T & T Supermarket, but the staff here were extremely friendly and helpful! They spoke English too, not just Mandarin or Cantonese! I gave 4 stars because the line for checkout was like Boxing Day! I guess since it's the only location in Ottawa (as of 01/14/2023), there's just no way around this. All items were in stock, vegetables and fruits were fresh, lots of ready to eat items as well, it's got all that you really want. Prices were alright, and there's an employee at every checkout helping you pack your items (REMEMBER TO BRING YOUR REUSABLE GROCERY BAGS). Just don't go on weekends, the checkout line is at least a 20 minute wait! I saw someone with only a few items, and as soon as he saw the line, he dropped everything and left! There are self-serve checkout counters but the checkout system they have in place is just not efficient enough! Oh, and in true Chinese style, there's also a phone repair stall..., an optometrist with full line of sunglasses and glasses, boba tea stall, insurance stall, and CIK Telecom in there, JUST GO ON A WEEKDAY INSTEAD TO AVOID THE...

A very big store indeed with lots of choices, they have ready-to-eat meals, such as sushi and a weigh-in buffet, as well as other delicacies. Their bakery is excellent.

As far as the grocery items, well, this is a superstore and you will find all manner of sauces and noodles, fish and other meats, (even things not normally seen in other stores!) and a good selection of fruit and veggies.

They have snacks of all kinds, even some flavors of chips from brand names I was impressed to see. I adore the shrimp flavored chips greatly, and the sweet potato-based ones too, to name some snacks quickly.

If you enjoy Chinese food, Japanese and Korean food (not a huge amount of those however) and some other things, from Southest Asia as well, you might be in paradise.

At times this place can be busy, at other times just pleasant to stroll through. They have a gift shop inside too, and an overall nice atmosphere and ambience.

I've been here a few times, and will return many times more, the only drawback for me personally is it is slightly far from where I live.

Even if you don't purchase anything (but you probably will!) it is a nice experience with lots of delicious things available.

If you haven't been, and are curious, go...
