Tim Hortons Disappointment: A Hasty Coffee Run Turns into a Frustrating Fiasco ☕️🚗
Sunday August 11, 2024 6:00pm, In a rush to catch a flight, I decided to swing by the local Tim Hortons to grab a quick coffee. I’d hoped for a swift, caffeinated pick-me-up to fuel my airport dash. Instead, what I got was an exercise in patience and an unfortunate lesson in how not to handle a coffee order.
The drive-through line was ostensibly short—only two cars ahead of me. How could this possibly take long, I wondered? Well, let me tell you: it took an exasperatingly long 10 minutes. During this stretch, I watched as the minutes ticked by, my anxiety rising with each passing second. The wait felt like a lifetime, leaving me to question if the coffee was being brewed in the midst of a cosmic crisis.
Finally, I reached the window and, with a sigh of relief, received my coffee. I was in too much of a hurry to check it right away. Big mistake. As I headed to the airport and took my first sip, I was met with the bitter reality of black coffee. I had ordered a “double double,” but instead received a cup that could only be described as a dark abyss.
At that point, I had no choice but to accept my fate. The time crunch made it impossible to return and rectify the order. I had hoped for a warm, creamy beverage to accompany me on my journey, but instead, I had to endure the disappointment of a plain black coffee. This was not only a letdown in terms of service but a serious blow to my caffeine-dependent soul.
The slow service and the incorrect order at what was supposedly a not-so-busy time were inexcusable. A coffee shop should be able to manage a straightforward order efficiently, even during peak hours, but this experience fell short on all fronts. I left feeling frustrated and disheartened, questioning why such a simple task had been executed so poorly.
In conclusion, my visit to this particular Tim Hortons was far from satisfactory. The slow service and error with my coffee order left a sour taste—one that was unfortunately not masked by cream and sugar. I’m unlikely to return to this location, and I cannot recommend it based on this experience. If you’re in a hurry or need your coffee just right, you might want to think twice before...
Read moreMy time at Tim Horton's really changed my trip to Canada, the "Weekend Crew" as so called, are one of the best, elite, and most trained soldiers they are when it comes to making donuts, coffee, deserts, etc. This one individual really sparked my heart for my love for Canadians. An individual known as Omar was one of, if not the best worker out there. When I went to another Tim Horton's they not only got my order wrong but once I pointed it out, they seemed to brush it off and told me to deal with it. Omar on the other hand, got my order correctly and knew I was having a rough day, and took matters into his own hands by treating me until I was satisfied. Not only did he treat me with speed and satisfaction, but he also cared for me with love, talked me out of my dark days. I know for a fact, everything here is made with love. I have gone there more than once and out of all of the coffee places I have gone to in Canada, THIS specific Tim Horton's is my favorite and will always be my favorite. I will put this out, the weekday people on the other hand, were not so caring as the Weekend Crew. An individual known as Gabe kind of brushed me off as if I wasn't supposed to be respected, and this is my only downside to this Tim Horton's. During my time in Canada, my only thing running through my veins was Tim Horton's. I feasted on nothing but some good old Timbits, and I do not regret this one bit. I am not joking when I say the only things consumed during my time in Canada was whatever they sold in Tim Horton's. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner. In conclusion, must I say this is the best donut shop I have ever been in my...
Read moreSo I came here on Friday March 29th (Good Friday) I arrived at the location at 9:45pm exactly (15 minutes before closing) as I pull into the drive thru, pylons were put at both sections to order. I went around to go inside and all the doors were locked, with customers inside eating and chatting. I knocked on the door and the employees completely disregarded me. I went back around and saw that the car in front of me had taken the pylon away and went inside. They took his order and when I pulled up to the drive thru I asked why they had pylons and had locked the doors if they close at 10. The man who answered us kept his microphone on and all I heard in the background was the lady swearing at us. I again told them why everything was closed if they are open until 10 and they answered with “we are closed”. They take my order and I go to the window to pay. The girl comes up to the window ready to fight us, I ask her what time do you close, she replies with, “10pm”. I show her my phone and say do you see what time it is (it was 9:47pm at this time)? And she’s like we’re closed and the iced cap machine is broken. (Wonder why…. Maybe because you cleaned everything 15 minutes prior and don’t want to get it dirty again). She gave me a dirty face and I left. I really wonder how she was allowed to close Tim Hortons 15 minutes early with people still inside and her taking orders inside. I was very disappointed with the way I was treated and spoken to. This is very unfortunate and...
