Valiants Memorial is located at Confederation Square in the city centre of Ottawa. What you find here is a collection of statues, busts and memorial plaques dedicated to important historical figures of the French Regime, American Revolutionary Period, War of 1812-14, WWI and WWII.

This is a wonderful collection of busts and statues that honour 14 people who have played important roles in Canada’s major conflicts. Among the figures honoured with sculptures are Laura Secord (War of 1812), General Sir Arthur Currie (World War I), Major Paul Triquet (World War II), and Thayendanegea (Joseph Brant), an ally of the British during the American Revolution.
