Zap Attack Laser Tag — Attraction in Peterborough

Recently rented for 9 yr old birthday party, 10 players and parents came along too. It was quite chaotic and we certainly should have had a staff member assigned to us. The "staging" area was a little room shared with two other parties prior to the "party room". Parents ended up standing around during game play as the chairs that were available were occupied by other children. After two games played, I had to go ask about the party room as food was about to be delivered. They tried their best, but only was able them to hold the pizza on their WORK DESK because there was no more room in "staging room". Once we finally got a party room, I ran in to set up decor and prep before kids ran in. Got it all set up, and started enjoying our party only to be interrupted by staff asking three times if we had grabbed coats that were not ours from the "staging area". At the end of party as guests were leaving I then had to run to front desk and inquire about coupons that were included. She wrote them up in front of me, as they were not done ahead of time. I finally got back to party room, only to clean up and find we were missing three coats and a pair of boots ourselves. Clearly the "staging room" does not work. The kids had fun during their games but there was a lot of "down time" with them standing around. I then had to pack the car, and being alone at this point, I was expecting staff to at least offer to help, they did not.

I mean, it was a good game time, but poorly executed by not enough staff or just over booking. Kind of disappointed after the amount of money I paid for...

We just had our son's 10th birthday at this location and I could not be happier with the service. It was a Saturday and very busy, but you would not know it by how the staff handled everything. They were extremely friendly and helpful throughout the party. We forgot many items such as plates, candles, lighter, knife, ect., and they were able to provide us with all these items at no additional charge. We never had to find anyone for help as they were either available or asking what else we needed. They also do all the clean up and do a basic decorate, all of these things taking the stress off the parents. The kids had a blast at the laser tag as well. I have not seen this kind of customer service and friendliness at any customer facing location in a long time. The staff are who make this experience so great. We usually go to Laser Quest in Whitby, and everyone (kids and adults) absolutely love it. We decided to check out Zap Attack since it was a little closer.. never again. Save your time and money and use it going to Whitby instead. The vests here are ones you can buy for personal use and not commercial/business ones, for starters.

We had two adults and two kids, most of our guns stopped working as did the vests. We were the only 4 in the arena because when we called they told us to be there at 5, when we arrived well before 5 - they told us there was no room in the game. By the time we finished our game the staff had their coats on and we're getting ready to walk out the door. They were unpleasant and the environment/atmosphere was boring and not uplifting/fun.
