Port Huron Waterfront Way is an absolute gem that perfectly blends natural beauty, fun activities, and a touch of history. Situated along the St. Clair River, it offers stunning views where you can watch freighters and sailboats glide by – truly a sight to behold. One of the standout features is the Blue Water River Walk. This well-kept boardwalk is perfect for leisurely walks, jogging, or cycling. It runs right next to the river, providing breathtaking views at every turn. Informative signs along the path share interesting tidbits about the area’s ecology and industrial past, making the walk both beautiful and educational. The park areas dotted along Waterfront Way are beautifully maintained and offer plenty of spots to sit and relax. They’re ideal for picnics or just unwinding while you watch the water. Don’t miss the Huron Lightship Museum – it’s a real treat for history buffs. Touring the lightship gives you a fascinating glimpse into the maritime heritage of the Great Lakes. Fishing enthusiasts will find plenty of great spots to cast a line. The fishing platforms are easy to access and well-kept, welcoming both seasoned anglers and those new to the sport. Waterfront Way also hosts a variety of community events throughout the year. From outdoor concerts and art festivals to family-friendly activities, there’s always something happening. These events add a lively, cultural vibe that makes each visit unique. Accessibility is top-notch here. The wide, paved paths are perfect for wheelchairs and strollers, ensuring everyone can enjoy the waterfront. Clean public restrooms and drinking fountains add to the convenience. In short, Port Huron Waterfront Way has something for everyone. Whether you’re into nature, history, or just looking for a relaxing day out, this place won’t disappoint. It’s a beautiful, engaging spot that captures the best of what Port Huron has to offer.

Nice trail along the riverside and under the bridge. Lots of free parking. Views of the bridge are great. The view of the Canada side are nice in some parts and pretty industrial in other parts. Over in Sarnia the harbour views are very nice, so be sure to cross over and check it out - you'd never guess from the USA side how nice it is on the Canada side.

Cool park right next to the water and practically underneath the massive bridge to Canada. Always live watching the massive lake freighters cruise by.
