I only had a few minutes to visit as it was about to close but looked like an interesting place. As I love maritime history I would surely return given more time.

A very exciting and free experience to go through. It is quite a small museum but there is a lot of things to see from WW2 and ship models. The most exciting and likely the most complex model is one of a French warship, a sailing ship with many details and displayed in a very large case. It was an amazing experience, we had a great tour with Willliam, who is very knowledgeable and kind. He shared a lot of background information with us and explained Canada's involvement in the Atlantic Blockade. The exhibition itself is very personal, somehow you feel like you know these sailors, like you've just learned of a lost uncle... I was very impressed and...

A very well hidden gem in Quebec. Most people would be forgiven for not being aware of the extensive Naval history of Quebec, but it's a fascinating history worth discovery.
