I ordered a pizza and a Caesar salad for delivery but unfortunately the salad didn’t come with the order. I called the restaurant and the staff I spoke with said she included the salad in the bag with the pizza (she was quite adamant that the salad was in the bag with the pizza). Once again, I told her I didn’t receive the salad. She then said that perhaps the salad fell out of the bag that the Door Dasher had and I should contact him about the missing salad. I told her there was no way I could contact the Door Dasher and I would like a refund or have another salad delivered to me. She said she was unable to do this as she had no contact information for me (credit card number, address or phone number). I told her the address where I was staying and could be delivered. She said no and suggested that I speak with her manager. I waited to speak with the manager for several minutes (long distance call for me) only to discover I was hung up on. I called the restaurant back and the same staff answered the phone and who then claimed she tried to call me back but I didn’t answer (earlier she said she didn’t have my phone number). I then spoke with the manager who informed me “there was nothing she could do” and suggested I contact Door Dash and get them to refund the money for the salad which was $12.50 plus taxes. I told this was very poor customer service and “I’m sorry” wasn’t good enough. She then suggested that I could walk to the restaurant and she could give me a salad. I told her we have been travelling for the past few days and I was not prepared to do that and that is why I ordered for delivery. I asked her if someone could run the salad over (I am staying less than two blocks away) and she said that wasn’t possible as they were busy. I told her this was poor customer service and I would be be leaving a poor review on Google. By the way, when the pizza arrived it was cold and it wasn’t cut into pieces. Thankfully, there was a plastic knife and fork set in the bag. Overall, poor customer service which has led to a very...
Read moreMy fiance & I drove up to old Quebec from the US for Thanksgiving this year. Our hotel was right across the street from this restaurant. We stopped in on our first night looking for dessert & boy were we glad we did! We tried their pear cheesecake & I absolutely fell in love with it! I liked this dessert so much, we went back for dinner the next 2 nights & ended up getting more of this cheesecake to take back home. I cannot say enough things about this cake! Possibly the best cheesecake I've ever had! Our server each time was Enélia (looks like a young Scarlet Johansson) & she was lovely. Their food was also amazing (we tried their Margherita pizza, caesar salad, prosciutto pizza rolls, flank steak fettuccine, maple syrup sponge cake & apple tart). I really recommend the pesto chicken fettuccine. In all, should we find ourselves back in Old Quebec in the future, we're definitely gonna come back to this...
Read moreWe stopped here on a whim while looking for somewhere to eat in Quebec City, and we’re so glad we did. Upon arrival, the staff let us know that a large party had just been seated, so there might be a delay with our order. We really appreciated the honesty and transparency—it set a great tone for the evening, and we were more than happy to wait.
The food was fantastic. Every dish we ordered was perfectly cooked and full of flavour.
But what truly made the experience exceptional was the staff. The two women working that evening were absolutely wonderful—friendly, knowledgeable, and incredibly welcoming. They are a real asset to the restaurant.
Highly recommend stopping in if you’re visiting Quebec City or a pre meal before...
