They are right, this place has good food, good service, good price! This review is long overdue but here goes: We love coming here for our essential Taiwanese snacks and BBT supplies ~ from the teas (basically wholesale pricing) to pearls, coconut jellies, and syrups (wintermelon, longan). They have hard to find Taiwanese snacks that take me to my childhood, and if you like bamboo shoots, they have an amazing selection in the fridge section. The bamboo shoots are slightly pricy but are as fresh as they come - can’t taste the preservatives - and is great in stir fries or soups. This is the only place we get grass jelly and aiyu jelly (fridge section). They also have specials and features that offer interesting options. Frozen section has some fantastic finds too - we get our passion fruit juice+pulp in the frozen section for our bbt and baked goods. I can go on, lots of options and if you appreciate Taiwanese snacks/food, check this place out and...
Read moreVery bad customer service. An old aged female cashier with glasses (she only works for Thursday) were very rude and no patience to the guests At All. The young ones are good. They don't accept credit card or WeChat pay under 10 dollar, and she asked the guest to look at the policy by a very rude way, and said "you didn't bring your eyes today? " I went back to return the goods and complained about her customer service at the front desk, she was still arguing with me and insulting me. I feel bad for this company when the boss still spoiled her way of services despite so many bad reviews towards her. I wached 国华 grew and shopped from 10 years ago when this was still a new company. Very disappointed and...
Read moreHad the same experience as a previous review. The middle-aged cashiers (other young ones were nice!) were rude. No smiles, would not help with putting things in the bag and had consistently blurted unhelpful comments like "told you to bring cash" or "we don't like it when customers don't bring their own bags" if and only if you seem Taiwanese. I experimented it a few times, and if I brought a white friend, they would be nice. This is sad -- being discriminated against by your own race. This is sad, especially given that Taiwanese are known for good services. I had been there a few times, and the bad attitude seletive to people that seemed to know Mandarin, has...
