Aberdeen Neighbourhood Park — Attraction in Richmond

This park is a big and spacious park. With a basketball court and a soon to be playground, which is going to be completed in less than a month. Near this place is the giant Aberdeen mall which is also another great place to go to. In Aberdeen there also is the Canada Line Skytrain station so it’s pretty accessible. For parking, you can park it in the Aberdeen parking (which is free) or across the road which is a gravel parking lot, and which you have to pay for. If you take the bus here then take the 410. A fantastic new neighborhood park. Soft opening as of July 12th. The park has lots of grass, several picnic tables and a basketball net. Also includes a fenced dog park, a water fountain and a very small garden walk. Walking distance from both continental , Aberdeen and Yoahan. Easy to grab lunch from one of those places and walk over. On one bus route but only two minutes from Aberdeen Canada line station. Parking is paid but they are close...

The park is close to a lot of traffic so it can be a little bit noisy but it's a very well maintained park. There's a decently sized gated area where dogs can be allowed off leash. Also there are a few benches as well as stables around the park where you can sit down to relax or grab a bite.
