Definately a good place for hangout. Parking is available all over but you have to pick ig you want spot close to market or little away from it. As compare to other beaches this one has more of market and shopping option close to over other beaches and lakes in manitoba. i personally like beach with levels of depth and where i have more room to play with kids and family as a non- swimmer. i found it to be little not like that.you have to be more careful at...

Fairly decent drive from Winnipeg. Quite a bit of amenities (Tim Hortons, Red River Coop grocery, Robin's, etc) here for a family picnic.

Beach rentals of kayaks, jet skis, etc nearby. Restaurants open, however have covid19 practices in place. Public bathrooms were modern and very clean.

Near boating docks and have the ability to go fishing (family just got minnows lol).
