I recently dined at there with a large group, and unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired. I ordered a double hamburger, eager for a satisfying meal, but what I received fell far short of expectations. I didn't understand what the patty was made of and how. It seemed like a big boiled meatball rather than a hamburger patty.The flavors were bland, lacking the seasoning or creativity that one would hope for in a burger. I found myself questioning the quality of the ingredients, as the entire experience felt underwhelming.
My wife shared similar sentiments about her meal, and it was clear we both felt let down. With so many other dining options available, it’s hard to understand how this particular burger could miss the mark so dramatically.
Adding to our frustration was the state of the restaurant during our visit. The staff was clearly overwhelmed with a long line of customers, making it impractical to address our concerns about the food. We understood the pressures they were under, but it meant that we left without voicing our disappointment directly.
Additionally, the ketchup dispenser was out of order, which felt like a small but telling detail about the overall management of the restaurant. Simple condiments should never be a hassle to access, and this only added to our dissatisfaction.
While I appreciate that busy times can lead to service lapses, the quality of food should never be compromised. I truly hope that restaurant owners can appreciate that food is more than just a commodity; it's an experience that transcends mere monetary value. Read moreI went there with 5 people. We turned 2 tables side ways to join them together as there were no big tables. I was confronted by a staff member and told I was not allowed to that. I asked the un-friendly owner what the issue was, he says that I will be blocking the ketchup dispenser. Well, this was wrong! look at the picture the table on the right beside the young man leaning over is still in the position I left it in. This man was so unappreciative of all his customers, not thanking a sole for coming in and supporting his business'. I didn't see the guy even deliver a smile! At 7ish o'clock he tells a line up of customers "take out only" There were tables open! What the hell. He wanted to close and go home. I will take my money elsewhere! The food was average at best. Read moreI’m from Arizona and was told this was the best establishment for fish in Gimli as I visited with my family. The customer services was quite boorish and partial.
Our order was taken but people that ordered after us were served first. We waited for a bit until served. When served we had to take our food out of the restaurant as they were closing but other patrons were allowed to eat there.
So we took our food to the beach to eat. Upon arriving to eat we notice we were not given condiments. I had to walk back to the restaurant which was closed with a locked screen door but still could see patrons dining in their restaurant.
After informing them that we were not giving condiments for our order I was allowed in and given what we needed.
Why were we treated secondary? Who knows but I would not recommend nor go to this...
