GameZilla — Attraction in Saint John

I’ve stopped in a few times at their stores in the province, and I’ve always walked out empty handed. Their prices are crazy. One day after the launch of a new product and they’re charging over 2 times MSRP. This isn’t the secondary market - you’re getting most of your stuff directly from distributors. It’s also cheaper to just get something from somebody else on Facebook or eBay.

And if that wasn’t enough, anything that is MSRP in the area (mainly Costco), their owners will just buy out the stock so they can charge over 2 times what they paid, and collectors get nothing.

This also goes for single cards - charging well over what market price would be.

I’m always trying to support my local game store, but it’s impossible when the only place charging me a fair price are the big stores like Walmart.

I don’t recommend Gamezilla unless you’re happy...

Been a regular customer for years, lately the service has slipped considerably. A lot of times there are issues missing from my weekly order and they never get me the missing issues. The manager is not very knowledgeable in any areas other than gaming, he gave another customer issues from my order in order to keep the other customer from complaining about his order not being complete. The store caters to the gaming crowd and has a wide variety of items in stock, compared to the non existent inventory for the comic community. If there was another store in the area offering the same services this store would be out of business. Which would be too bad because they used to be a top notch...

Did not go to GameZilla. My friend and I went to the Hospice shop that's on the rear of the same building as GameZilla. If you have never been to the Hospice I certainly hope you take the opportunity to go. There is beautiful clothing mostly brand names at very reasonable prices, beautiful glass and China items.
