Amazing gallery in the heart of downtown Sarnia. We came and enjoyed the Indigenous artwork from many local artists. Tons of artwork and handcrafted items you can view and/or purchase. My favorite were the Jill Joseph art pieces. One is pictured below. There was a wide variety of different forms of art, everything from abstract to photography to traditional indigenous art. It's free to enter, staff are super friendly and helpful, the building is so old and historic and it's a cool location in downtown Sarnia. Will definitely be back. 5/5.

The Lawrence House Centre for the Arts is a beautiful historic home that is now an art gallery and hub for all forms of arts and culture. Much of the original architectural features have been preserved and restored inside and out. Admission is free, and practically everything on display is for sale, with prints available of every artwork in multiple sizes. The Centre participates inthe First Friday Sarnia event every month.

Hours: Wednesday-Sunday 10am-4pm Shop: Lawrencehouse.ca Unfortunately, it was closed on Monday so I wasn't able to go in. In the 70s, we would go as a school trip and tour inside.

I'm an artist. I love going to the Lawrence house when I can to take a look at local artists in Sarnia. I always love looking at the new pieces and meeting the people that are also interested in the arch that is there and the artists that have created them and it's always a really nice experience I suggest to everyone that you go at least once in your life and just appreciate the hard work people put into...
