Entomica Insectarium — Attraction in Sault Ste. Marie

We travelled 861 miles to take our 8 yr old grandson to his dream museum on July 28 It was more than any of us could ever imagine! An absolute thrill for all of us made even better by the very professional and well informed guide, Mckayla, who greeted us when we arrived and spent every minute with us explaining in amazing detail all the habits and make up of each insect and geckos. She was patient - kind- friendly and clearly invested in ensuring our grandson had a wonderful experience. Her knowledge was amazing and she made everything interesting. As the adults in the equation we didn’t expect to also have as much fun as we did. I would highly recommend this and if you get the chance look for Mckayla as a guide! She wears her passion for insects on her sleeve and you will walk away proud of all the insects she will help you see/hold/feed....

He welcomed us with so much kindness and took the time to explain everything about the insects in such a detailed and engaging way. Have visited Entomica 3 times already and I still enjoy myself. I visit Sault Ste. Marie every year and try to go to Entomica every time. The insect collection is often different and they're displayed beautifully. The staff/volunteers are always eager to impart knowledge and you can tell they enjoy teaching the public (especially kids and families) about the wonderful world of insects.
