We ordered through skip the dishes tonight. First I'd like to express how amazingly tasteful our food was. The flavors were delicious. We ordered the zucchini noodle bowl with added chicken, the gluten free tortilla chips with Buffalo dip, and the homemade mini cinnamon buns. I enjoyed these meals more than similar foods I've ordered from else where. The spicy peanut sauce tasted fantastic. Nice freshly cooked veggies. The Buffalo dip tasted like real cream cheese with hot sauce added. Was only suppose to get 2 mini cinnamon buns, but they added a 3rd tiny one. So this was a bonus. I'll definitely be ordering again from here. I hope they never change anything and stay constant. It was nice to finally have a change rather than the other typical Sault restaurants. For anyone complaining about the prices, these prices are around the same prices as other restaurants, only difference is that Mane street Cafe and Lounge taste much better and their food doesn't make you feel terrible afterwards. Thank you.

The food was good and our server was very polite and kind. The price of the food however was a bit much for a sandwich with kettle chips. They also charge 4$ for a can of Coke. If you read all the reviews on here that aren’t 5 star you will see that the owner doesn’t quite understand customer service to the point where they will argue via Google reviews with other customers rather than going the usual route of rectifying the problems. TLDR: Over priced food with a very over priced drink menu run by what seems to be a very very stubborn and uptight owner that guilt trips you about corona causing them to up charge on everything.

Ordered the keto meal and cheese plate. The photo on SkipTheDishes seemed pretty nice and versatile only to receive the smallest amounts possible , that does not match the photo. Didn’t even get a pita chip with it ….. I’d you’re going to advertise it in your menu them follow it. It’s not like you had to cook anything …

update: yeah see, your response is exactly what we're talking about. first of all, angelo isn't me; he's a licensed, practicing attorney. second, listing out the times (which weren't true, i have the receipts), being condescending ("we're not a study hall"), and defensive with your customers instead of trying to make things right with your customers isn't going to get your business recover the way you wanted it to. i'm taking one star for this worsened experience.

i'd made this coffee shop one of my favourites in the soo since the staff was always very pleasant but i guess it didn't last very long. today i was kicked out by a server i'd never met before, because i had stayed for a little over two hours and that i wasn't buying anything else (after my earlier meal). i'd never been at a coffee shop where i was studying and was kicked out because i was staying a little longer than "normal" and that there were "paying customers waiting" (no one was standing, everyone was seated). i told the server that i'd never been kicked out of any restaurant before and he replied with "well, i wouldn't say that-" which was off-putting since he was clearly kicking me out. i usually purchase a bowl of soup and a cup of coffee from this particular coffee shop after my spa treatments but never again. this is just abnormal coffee shop behaviour lol no offence. no apologies or anything; just a disappointing experience altogether.

just a little note because you've lost a customer. i still tipped even after this experience. i've been reading the way the owner condescendingly responds to low-rating reviews as well and this customer service clearly has...

Edited after owner response:

Wanted to edit this review to tell people to look at the owner's response to Putri's review

It seems the employee was the owner, and the owner found Google reviews to be an opportunity to be rude and belittle its customers instead of getting constructive feedback. Kicking out a customer that rightfully ate and paid for their food and drink is one red flag, but it's another red flag to not be understanding and be rude to them again.

If you are reading this and you are trying to decide where to eat, I would think twice before coming here. go to scotts coffee shop instead. I have gone to thousands of cafes across the world, and this tops the list as the worst cafe.

Original Review: Worst coffee shop in sault. Wanted to like this coffee shop, but alas the employees there were rude and they kick you out for studying there. I've never been kicked out of a coffee shop and this is really disappointing service. I ordered soup which was great, but this employee just killed the experience.

Employee pretextually said there was a lot of people standing waiting to sit down, but there was literally no...
