Aaron is the guy you NEED, first off I’d like to say all of the parks staff here are by far the friendliest and most helpful. The lock was not busy when we pulled through and there was us and one other boat lifting. We got the blessing of hearing Aaron sing us a song he composed as we lifted and he even had his guitar alongside him. It was a great experience and a great song. This is how every service worker should be trained, he remembered us even after a few days (went to the gate at 27 and then back) and he even asked us how the islands were that we stayed at. While we docked gray line we saw a couple renters got stuck and confused and the staff here was right on it and ready to give a hand however they could. We had the opportunity to speak to Aaron and Steve who had shared a few stories of past boaters and provided us some lessons and tricks to use to our advantage of navigating locks and boating in the future. Steve was very professional and knowledgeable while overseeing the activity at the lock. Both of them are full of pride for their craft, a light of hope in the coming darkness, they proved to us that they truly love what they do and the people they get to meet. Thank you 31 you truly are the best, I hope to see you next year!
Thank you Aaron again from Egan 375, it’s people like you that give everyone hope in humanity. Keep your eyes on that “road to...
