Read moreI've visited Buckhorn just for their pizza. Usually great service, excellent pizza but not this time. We called ahead to order our pizza and there was 3 of us. I usually order thick crust which I did again but the center wasn't cooked all the way. I asked the young lady at the counter if she could pop it in for 2 min longer. She told me it was cooked because they have timers and... Anyhow she argued with me and was extremely RUDE about it.. Finally put by pizza in and while doing so her and another co worker glared at me..
Needless to say they left it in til it was burnt. Without opening the box I already knew. I went back to the counter and asked how I was supposed to eat that? She said with my teeth. Than said it's cooked now isn't it? Proceeded to argue with me I asked for my money back. She said she would make a new one but why would I want another one?
The next day I called to speak to a manager. Didn't feel like anything was going to happen I even stated for them to go over the cameras they would see how inappropriate she was.. This experience has made me never wanting to go there again...
Kindness goes along way.. Maybe try having someone working with these young ones that can show people some consideration shocked especially in a small town...
Read moreThis place was great a couple of years ago when I first got some slices. I noticed that the last few times I was there for a quick lunch that things were going down hill. For one, the crust is now about as thick as a piece of paper. Witch makes it hard to pick up a slice without a bunch of toppings falling off. Also i can remember when the cheese was on all the pizza, not just some. Burnt crust, toppings that looks like the grade 2 class had a free for all? What happened to this place? Time to support the very few other options in buckhorn. Want a real slice? If ya get a chance, try Romas pizza in Hastings. Maybe the owners of pizza alloro should send there employees to try a slice that gives customers a...
