We went for the Lego exhibit. It's pretty awesome and all, and the scavenger hunt is fun, but too hard for younger kids. If they could maybe hint at the area where to look for? Now, I had a stroller and it's way too small for stroller or wheelchair. I thought the walkways were just wide enough for us. We can go through but you're always on the way, people have to move so that you can move, and you can't stay too long on the same spot either as people are behind you waiting to go through. So not a very nice experience there. We couldn't take our time. We felt rushed. And that's when you're already inside. To get in the museum, through the back door where the elevator is, the button to open the door was installed on the wrong side, so the door opens towards you. You have to quickly push and move out of the way so the door won't hit you and you go around and then in. And that's the only door with a button to automatically open it. There are two more doors to get to the museum and you have to juggle pulling the door open while pushing the stroller in, unless there's someone else to do it for you. I only took the stroller because I read here it was accessible. Had I known these inconveniences I'd have the baby in a carrier. I don't recommend going...
Read moreThe Lego exhibit gets smaller every year. If it’s one guy’s collection and he doesn’t feel like getting his full collection out then try to get another person’s collection to go along with it - or multiple collections. The Lego exhibition is on for a long period of time and it’s popular. Please stop being lazy and make it as big as it once was. I have a big collection and it’s almost the same size as what’s on display there. There are lots of people who would LOVE to put their collections on display. The museum needs to step up, stop being lazy, and put on a show for the community! This is the main attraction for like...
Read moreTook my daughter to the Lego exhibit, and for such a small museum, they did a great job of packing in the models. We will definitely be back to see other exhibits. The museum is run by donation. Suggested donation is $5 per person which is very reasonable. Bring some change for the kids. As you often find in donation driven venues like this, they have a coin drop game. My daughter loved the Lego as well as the more traditional museum exhibits, model train,...
