Quaint restaurant on the Sydney Pier. We had a great table with a view of the harbour. The clam chowder was really tasty. We shared a bowl. My son had salmon fish and chips and I had halibut fish and chips. It was really good. The portions were very big. We probably could have shared a fish and chips instead of ordering a plate each and saved $30.00 We took a whole order in a take home container. It was costly. It was a very good meal but probably one of the most expensive casual lunches I've ever had. With a couple drinks it was $93.00 with the tip. It's expensive everywhere on Vancouver Island so this is probably close to typical but a little on the high side.

The fish and chips were outstanding! We stopped by for lunch in mid July to eat outside and it seemed like there was a comfortable laid back atmosphere. We were able to bring our two small dogs to sit next to us during lunch which we thought was very accommodating. After getting seated I ordered the 2 piece cod fish and chips and I don’t think we waited a full ten minutes before our food was out. It was surprisingly fast. The food itself was very good. I think I had the crispiest battered fish I’ve ever had eating here. The batter was super crispy but not at all heavy. I would absolutely come back here again.

We were looking for a place to get Sunday lunch during the boat show and this place had the shortest line. We still had to wait but it went very quickly and soon we were seated on the heated patio. Crab cakes and chowder seemed like a good choice and we were not disappointed. Portions were good sized and the view from our table was excellent. We had a front row seat to see local sailboats racing as we lunched! The crab cakes were the best we’ve had in eons and the chowder rivalled my own ;). Also the service was efficient, friendly and fast. We’ll definitely be back.

We went to Sideny each time for lunchtime that we must be go there. The Pier Bistro’s food so good!👍👍👍 I love it! After lunch, because it was a special day “ Mother’s Day”. When finished lunch, we sat on the beach-chair to enjoy the ocean. I took a book from my bag and began to read. It’s “The Lost World”, the whole book didn’t have many new word for me but the story of this book appealed to me so much that I can't help reading it all the time. A rewarding day with my sweetheart Enjoying the sunshine by the seaside 🌹. Nice day always makes me unforgettable!😎⛱️

Fantastic fish , delicious crab cakes. Service was friendly. Really site spot at the end of the pier, it’s small so you may have to wait in a bit of a line. However it’s worth it. A little pricey but it’s uniqueness makes it worth it.
