I am an air cadet and so this park holds most of my fondest memories from grinding away sweat blood and tears at biathlon practice to enjoying a sweet juicy meal at the cadet final end of year BBQ to even hosting other activities with other guys and girls at cadets . This would be a great place for families looking to spend some free time as it have nice scenery has lots of space and most importantly it’s in the sun! Who wouldn’t want all that vitamin D? I know I’m sure I would love that vitamins D. But to get technical the bathrooms are so-so usually kept clean and so I give this place good review. Bonus tip, It has a playground for smaller children and a big field for older people as stated previously. Overall the nature is nice it has basic facilities and shelter like a gazebo and restroom and even a sidewalk you could use for runs or biking even. With all of this you get to enjoy it with a river view and a beautiful old train bridge in...

Was a 5 star 3 years ago. Its family friendly before 4pm on Weekdays. After 4pm expect the horrible smell of Meth. I would advise removing your children from the area, as I once took part in the weed smoking right on the benches in-front of the park under the roof connected to the washrooms. Majority of teens have knives on them, or mace. Drug sales are done, drugs are boughten in the parking lot, injections take place in the washrooms, heavy heavy vandalism occurs daily at all hours, massive 7 foot flames from the bonfire pit, non stop loud gangster music, snorting of drugs, fights, and the lot of...

This Park is located in St. Albert. It's a great place , as there are many sports related arenas along this area and the Park itself is a great place for outdoor activities. I noticed many people utilise the beautiful and calm grounds for walking or to run in groups. There were a number of people with pets on leash exercising or just taking their pets for a walk. The park grounds have ample free parking space . There is an Aviation building besides the parking as well as a...

Beautiful park along Sturgeon river in St.Albert, it has two bridges that are great for photographing, one is the CN bridge which is probably over a hundred years old now.If you follow the paved path along the river you will walk past two cool grain elevators also great for photographing. All ages friendly park with concrete pathways which means good for wheelchairs.

Lions park has everything - play spaces for various ages, outdoor exercise equipment, fire pits and picnic shelters, bathrooms, walking paths throughout that connect to the rest of St Albert, river views, access to the library/museum/city buildings... Great place for an afternoon/evening with friends or a bike ride through to downtown.

Came for wedding pictures in November, so it was chilly and we didn't get to play. Lots of free work out equipment, there is a pond/stream with ducks, super cool. Love the train bridge, made a good background for pictures. I'm sure in the summer it's lovely to run around on the grassy hills Saw lots of strollers and doggos
