My friend and I visited La Crema Cafe this morning and had an absolutely inexcusable experience. We visited the cafe with every intention of ordering drinks and a meal, and were excited by the prospect, as we have visited La Crema before and enjoyed it very much. La Crema even reposted us on their social media this past Spring, which was lovely! This time around, things were much different. My friend is almost 6 months pregnant and desperately had to use the washroom prior to us ordering. Once she came out, what we believe was the owner (a female behind the counter) absolutely lost it on her for using the facilities. She did not offer an opportunity for us to explain that we were planning to order, or ask about our situation at all. She immediately jumped to the conclusion that we were using her facilities without paying. A simple question would have cleared this up, but instead she lost two excellent, paying customers who will NOT be returning to her establishment. In todays day and age, how are we still not grasping the concept of customer service? I can't forgive this level of incompetence. Do not own a business if you are prepared to chastise good customers. Especially ones who are going through the process of having a child. We all know that this is a tough experience already, and does not require your messiness and misery. Grow up and sell your business if you cannot act like an adult and a courteous business owner. Do not support...

I ordered a Large Latte on April 12/25. Many patrons ordering food and beverages. A good problem to have. The problem is staffing!!! There is only 2 people working. 1 person is overwhelmed making smoothies and breakfast food items. The other person is basically working the till! Meanwhile there is no one actually making the coffee beverages...the orders are backing up! This business needs to either consider having 3 workers on busy days such as Saturdays or having the till person taking a break from the till in intervals to actually make the lattes! They can't just keep taking people's money at the till and expecting the patron to wait until there is a small windows of time to actually make the lattes! I was waiting 20nmimutes for a coffee when I asked for my money back and sadly I noticed that my order slip was still 4 orders from being completed! More priority needs to be placed on the customer experience! Back to Starbucks and...

I should of took the poor reviews to stay away from there and look elsewhere. My sister orderd before me. We waited a long time for our sandwiches. Mine came first even though she orded first. I was almost done mine when my sisters arrived. She took a bite and had trouble chewing into it. She said it's hard I can barely bite into it. So I took it back for her and explained it was to chewy and hard to eat and said sorry to the server. My sister had cancer a few years back and had an organ transplant so she needed to eat with her pills. My sister didn't want to wait a long time for another sandwich so she asked for a refound instead. The server said she couldn't and the sandwich is a waste and didn't belive that I ordered second and recieived my food first and almost ate all of it before my sisters orded arrived. The server said I make it that way and will have to check the camera for proof. (Really?) What happened to customer...

Ordered a cappuccino and a vanilla pumpkin spiced latte. The cashier was very nice and friendly, but the overall service wasn't good, especially for the price. It wasn't busy at all, but we waited over 20 minutes for our order that came out in to go cups instead of mugs and we really didn't feel like they cared at all because they just said; "my co-worker messed up and put them in to go cups, but the coffees will be ready in a couple minutes" the pumpkin spiced latte was terrible compared to the previous time I was there, and the cappuccino was way over-steamed/too hot. 2 stars because the cashier was kind and the atmosphere was great aside from needing cleaning. I would not recommend this shop, I'd recommend going to whisk and get a way better coffee with better service and a cleaner place.

Very cute and quiet place for a coffee. The decor is genuine and locally made, which gives it an inviting old-time feeling. The mugs are a nice touch. The neighbourhood is welcoming and the perfect place for a stroll if you were to take your coffee to go. I ordered the breakfast wrap which was mediocre, nothing to write home about. That’s the only reason I wouldn’t give it a full 5 starts. Next time I’d like to try the breakfast bagel which seems to be the most popular. The coffee itself tasted great. Bold and well made. Prices are comparable to any other cafe. An extra shot of espresso $1, which is reasonable. I would definitely order again if I’m in the area.

This is a great cafe and study spot in St. Albert! The atmosphere is great and the food and drink options are great! They offer plenty of gluten free desert options (I cannot vouch for the lunch options since I haven't had any) I have had many different drinks from here and they've all been very good! I recently started my matcha journey and tried the strawberry matcha the other day. I think if I didn't get oat milk it would have been better, the oat milk they use has a very strong oat flavor that is almost overpowering (and it does not use certified gluten free oats) other than that it was delish
