Thorold Community Arenas — Attraction in Thorold

Renovations looking good....my thoughts would have been to build new...in confederation heights...near stokes seeds ..with 13 plus acres available...federal and provincial funding available....highway traffic for a big box store and some commercial plazza space...put new arenas there with other sports activities baseball and soccer...gym...ect perfect location for population growth...ideal development site.... city of thorold want to do their own thing...

Ice was in poor condition. Weird that it was a Tim Horton's Holiday Family Skate, they wouldn't allow skate aids for the little ones. I understand it's public skating, but no aids for a Family skate. So it's a Tim Horton's Holiday Family Skate for only families that can skate I guess. Not much of a family skate when you either have to leave one of your kids at home or carry them...

A few whiney hockey parents who insist on yelling at the teenage referees when they don't agree with the call on the ice. I don't know about Thorold parents, but we were made to take a course about respect in sport about now yelling at the ref's and how silly you look when you do. It's sad that 1 or 2 chirpy parents.paint a black mark on children's house...
