It's a standard sized Canada Computers. Has what every other Canada Computers has (keyboards, mouse, PCs, headphones, mics, figurines, 3D printers, gaming chairs, other cool stuff, PC parts, etc). I came here with a friend to purchase a few things for my PC setup. On check out, the guy who was checking us out, specifically me... He tried to upsell me a hidden warranty fee. He was like "Do you want some warranty and in 3 years if you've accidentally wrecked your product, you can return it and get a new one" (it's not the exact wording, but this is what he essentially meant). He worded it pretty vague and very persuasive, to the point it sounded really suspicious, like he was trying to pull a fast one one me. I looked over to my friend with the "look", and my friend asked if there was a cost to it. The man said "Of course! It's $40!". So, we said no to his "sneaky warranty" (the one where he didn't tell us the price upfront). Paid and left. At least I walked out with just my headphones and network adapter, without any extra fees on top. Worst experience with Canada Computers. The Ajax location is way better. At least the people there know their stuff and love the work that they do (and don't force you to buy stuff or try to upsell you hidden fees). Too bad this is the only closest Canada Computers to me. Overall, avoid the older brown not-so-gentleman... Cause he is going to try and upsell you with his very fast and persuasive as heck speech with hidden fees. The people who help you here are very "hit and miss". Side note: My friend said that he had a good experience here when he came here to build his PC. The guy who helped him knew his stuff. Very good.

I got my all the stuff for my new pc build from Canada Computers Scarborough. Got amazing deals on boxing day. Even Amazon did not have better pricing than them. I believe you can price match which is a great addition. Their floor staff was amazing and helped out with any queries even when they were super busy. Only complain is their cashier was super unprofessional. I asked if they have one of the products in stock and she said they got one left. She did not help me in find it and when I came back she was too busy to be bothered with anything. I mean I'm buying so much stuff from you guys so she should at least have the courtesy to be nice especially when I waited in line for more than 15mins. This is however the employees fault and not the franchise itself. 10/10 would recommend for any pc parts. They have a huge supply of products which helps you with finding whatever you need for your new build.

Canada Computers often gets a bad reputation, whether online or through word of mouth—but my experience couldn’t have been more different. I purchased a 9070 XT from this location and was genuinely impressed. Huge shoutout to Brian, who was exceptionally helpful and patient with all my questions. Both he and Cheng went above and beyond to help me find the right PSU for my Nitro+. If you're torn between shopping here or at Best Buy, I’d say Canada Computers offers better customer service—at least based on my experience.

I have been shopping at this location for years but will never go back after what they put me through today. I placed me order online ad received my order number for pickup in my email and went to pick it up.

When I got there they told me I could not pick up my order until I had received a phone call from them. I told them i did not use my phone to order and have no phone on my person. The web site did not tell me I needed my phone to pick up my order. They did not care at all and i had to drive all the way back home to wait for the phone call.

I get the call and they told me my order was ready so I drove back to the location only to be told t hat my order was not yet ready after being told I needed a code they text messaged me. I already had the order number and pickup code but this was not good enough I needed the text code as well which i had and only then was told they call first and then put the order together after.

I waited back in line for another 30 minutes in the hot sun and I am disabled. Finally the guy called me over and now wants the brand name and model numbers of everything i ordered so they could put my order together. I asked him if he was serious. I have no idea the model numbers. I finally got my order several minutes later.

This was the poorest customer service I have ever received and the employees were not caring at all. It would have taken them 30 seconds to pick up a keyboard and hard drive for me.

I shopped at a different location a couple of days ago and did not have any of these problems including the phone call policy.

I will never give them another penny of business nor will my Son who was with me and witnessed what they did to me.

I plan to share this review on every review page I can find to warn people. I have been shopping at this location for many years and have spent thousands of dollars there and they just lost a life time customer. i plan to complain to the BBB as well. I even asked them nicely if they could just help me so i would not have to drive all the way home for the phone call and they said no we don't care. This is how they treat a disabled customer. I will put much time and energy into helping others not have to go through what I went through.

Stay away from this location at all cost. There are plenty of other locations that value their customers.

Staff were rude and grumpy and even throwing peoples orders down on the ground with out being careful at all. They are rude and disgruntled and maybe not happy to be at work. I have never seen anything like it in 50 years.

you can see the other similar reviews recently here for this location. They were ok a few months ago but terrible now. No one would go back after being treated like this. You can see it in other...

Okay, today was a total shock. As a Canada Computers customer for a full decade, this is my worst experience yet....what is this garbage employee we had to encounter today? (Male Karen). Literally, he asks us to pick up trash off the floor in an UTTERLY rude demeanor! Like, if you don't know how to do your job, just quit, Dan (the rude employee's name)! So, today, a friend and I went in to get a hard drive in order to fix our laptop. We went in and asked Dan (the rude employee) for any hard drives in stock. He simply just rejects our concern completely, and rejects to even help us get a hard drive at Canada Computers (Scarborough location). He says to us, "Do you even know how to fix a laptop?" DUH! THAT'S WHAT WE WERE HERE FOR; to get a hard drive, and fix our laptop OURSELVES! Who does he think we are; unskilled people?! Then, if this wasn't enough, Dan goes to tell us that our laptop is, apparently, 'ancient.' Talk about customer service!!! AND AFTER, he tells us to go away and purchase a hard drive from Amazon. LIKE, WHAT?! HORRID, HORRID, HORRID experience. However, despite our horrid experience with Dan, there was an awesome employee there who's name was Shadab at the same branch! It was too bad that he came out to help us when we were about to leave (after being harassed by Dan). Shadab is absolutely incredible, and I'm giving a star to Canada Computers SOLELY because of Shadab! He was so helpful at all times! He told us what hard drives would be best for our laptop. Look at just how much Dan has disgraced Canada Computers, and their loyal customers!!! Shadab's a five star employee, and, from my experience, Dan is...not even worth a fraction of a star for his behavior with us today. Unfortunately, Dan was here at customer service. I wish Canada Computers would hire better, more qualified employees; not like Dan! More Shadabs, less Dans!!

The only reason we bought a hard drive today was all because Shadab came out to help! He came at the very end, when we were about to walk out their door very upset. (Thanks so much, Shadab!)

I don't usually write reviews like this, but this was absolutely an unacceptable, horrible experience. Take it from a person who's gone to Canada Computers for everything 'techy' for the past decade.

Thanks, watch out for Dans, and I really hope Canada Computers becomes the best Computer store it was 10 years ago!

Thanks again for reading this. Hope this helps anyone out...

I had a very poor experience a week ago at this location...

My company moved offices and we needed some supplies for our IT admin to finish the networking and switching.

I had a list of items and also had to return a $10 product that I bought from them a week previously.

I walked in and had first tried to get a refund or exchange for a purchase. There was 1 staff there assisting a customer but it wasn't for an exchange or refund. They kept talking about EVERY anti-virus software out there, and the CC employee had explained the pros and cons of each. So after patiently waiting for nearly 10 minutes, I had asked if anyone else can assist me from the back of the exchange section. He simply said "No, there is no one else available." and then continued his conversation with the customer on anti-viruses.

After waiting another couple minutes and still no service, I put my item on the table and walked in (as I had to get back to the office with the proper equipment for our IT guy).

So I walked into the networking area where there is cat6 cables, jacks, etc. I asked an employee "Are you currently helping any customer?". He said "No" and I showed him my list of items. I asked where the items were. He started looking for about 30 seconds, couldn't find anything, and just walked away. So I continued to look for 5-10 minutes, found the items I needed, and then went to check out.

The clerk was very friendly and said "Did anyone help you today" and I laughed out loud and said "NO! No one helped me..." She apologized many times, but it was too late; the damage was done.

Finally, I went back to the exchange area, grabbed my $10 item and walked out. I did not get the item exchanged or refunded, and the guy there was STILL talking to the same customer about anti-viruses....

I personally will not be going back to CC. I do agree that their prices are very competitive and you can save money by going there. However I would NEVER buy anything from there, especially if you have to return or exchange (because that probably won't happen). In addition, if you know exactly what you need and don't expect a refund ever, then it's probably worth the risk - just don't ask for any of their staff...
