I have visited them in person for 'parcel' (my Malayali friends would know why saying parcel is the best) maybe once or twice but I have ordered from them through DoorDash many a time. One of the best I have seen that offers consistent value for money for everyday Joe! Ergo, don't pay heed to haters who don't have anything else to do, but just try the place yourself and decide.
For me, the taste, quality and quantity matter more. Malayali food may be rough looking but unlike North Indian and White people food (except Mary Brown's spicy chimkken and fries / taters) that are bland, devoid of 'value for money' quantity and just abominably Godless in an unholy manner, it is full of motherland goodness!
Of all their items I have tried (and I have tried almost all of them since 2017), their best most fantastic dish is, one that God Himself would devour, MUTTON BUCKET BIRIYANI! 😭❤️ Thank you for this dish and everything you have done to make it near perfect (I won't say perfect as God alone is perfect) ...I LOVE IT! ...I LOVE YOU ALL WONDERFUL PEOPLE! ...GOD BLESS YOU ALL! ...UM-NUM-NUM-NUM!
Update:
I had tried their beef bucket biyyani a while ago and i didn't order it again but tried it again today and my God in Heaven, this bucket biyyani is what Mother of God would eat and still keep a portion aside for Her Son. I miss my Amma and motherland!
Buddies, I love you all so much! Listen all you Malayali people, just get either of those bucket biyyanis and be happy. The taste... quality... quantity... all perfectly chonky-smooshy good! I imagine their bucket biyyanis being made by Adonis-lookin' handsome studmuffins...it is extra special, man!
Update:
I tried their chimkken bucket biyyani too; mwah! That's all I have to say; coming from a large enough person, trust me when I tell ye, this place is it! Their lunch specials (veg and any other numbers you choose, gives you brilliantly filling value for money).
A special word about their samosa; sure, they are not as chonky-purrfect-num-nums as the samosas you get from the little tiffin / snacks counter at Kennedy station but after that, this place has the next best samosa in all of eastern GTA!
God...

I’ve been ordering from here almost once a month now, and it’s honestly one of those little hidden gems that quietly win your heart with consistency, care, and flavor.
Their vegetarian thali is my go-to, an amazing value for what you get, especially for $11.99 (depending on the platform). The thali typically includes rice and naan, but I always request a Malabar-style paratha instead and they’ve always accommodated it so kindly. The variety includes at least three curries: one usually being butter paneer (which I choose), though palak paneer is just as lovely, and often a comforting dal. If I’m lucky, they include beetroot curry, which I most specially request. It’s absolutely delicious and has become a bit of a personal obsession.
What I love most? It’s not just the food — it’s how personal and thoughtful they are. Today, I was really craving their chutneys (especially the red one and the coconut one — both brilliant!) and there was no option to add them. So I left a note while ordering extra payasam, just asking if it was possible to include them. Not only did they see the note, they actually sent them. In a world of rushed service and templated food, that level of human touch stands out.
This is a humble, home-run style restaurant that clearly puts love into what they do and I’ve been meaning to leave this review for a long time. It’s about time I did. Thank you, for always being dependable, delicious, and deeply...
Read moreSpoiled tomato in both of my curries; ruined both dishes. Called the restaurant to complain, they wouldn't offer a refund, tried to gaslight me saying I left the food out too long. They offered me a replacement dish, so I brought back both curry dishes near-full. I was only given one butter chicken as a replacement. When I pointed this out, I was told that one of the curry dishes was still good. I told them I would take back the one they considered to be good, but they had already thrown it out (I guess they just throw out "good" food?). I was then asked to voice any further complaints on a different day. (They seemed to be busy, and either didn't want to deal with me or didn't want other guests to hear my complaints). Right after leaving the restaurant, I opened my butter chicken for a quick quality check. I counted a total of 6 pieces of chicken in the entire dish.
As much as I don't want to make this a racial thing, I think if you aren't brown, don't bother, they won't respect you. You will likely be given smaller portions, or the garbage pieces of meat. At least put a brown name on your takeout order!
Coconut shrimp wasn't terrible, just a bit heavy/oily. Samosas were alright, garlic naan was stiff/chewy. Plain rice on the side had no issues (no surprise there!)
It's going to take a LOT for me to consider buying...
