Went there for a birthday celebration and was treated accordingly by the staff befitting the celebratory mood, it was very very good service... more on that. Once seated we were greeted by David who was quite hospitable from the onset, big smile in tow. David even prepared our Burrata (cheese) appetizer, I may have looked lost when I was looking at the dish when delivered hence his offer to help🙃 taking a step backwards, the vodka martini with lemon zest twist was just the right mix of dry and smooth with a proper splash of vermouth - imo. Me likey. Along with said Burrata we indulged in a mix seafood fritti plate and a Margherita pizza...wife was ordering explaining the bella figura I sport (you're gonna scrutinize those pics more now aren't ya) 😲. On pasta... yours truly had the Assisi, wife had the speciale del giorno seafood aglio e olio, my boy had the Bosco, mi principessa... Napoletana. Pretty stuffed at the end but we were surprised by the crew with a birthday 🎂 sing a long and what you see moi fawning over was care of "pastry chef" and close friend of la familia... Derek, a wonderful waiter extraordinaire and aforementioned pastry gourmand. Ok truth time, had a lot on my mind going in to the restaurant so wasn't in the best mood (getting old😉)... this place, the service and the food flipped everything for me... didn't even notice the hustle and bustle of the restaurant dinner rush... point I'm making is this place and people just make things perfect, they do it smoothly and with a certain nonchalance... carefree, take it ez vibe. It rubbed off I'll tell ya. I'm a local of this area/midtown mount pleasant for lord knows how long, anyone remember Earl's or Chik n deli, the unicorn. Last I was here with the wife was 15+ years ago... if memory serves me correct... nice that good, NO, great things stay or even get better 👍 see pics... moltissimo grazie... "Grazie", La...

The highlight of my visit was undoubtedly the flavorsome cuisine. The dishes were well-executed, showcasing a balance of traditional Italian recipes with a modern twist. The pasta was cooked to perfection, and the sauces demonstrated a rich depth of flavor. The dessert selection was equally impressive, offering a delightful conclusion to the meal.

Read moreDuring the Thanksgiving weekend, I had the pleasure of dining at Grazie for the first time, and it's safe to say Grazie is one of the best Italian restaurants in Toronto, situated in the bustling Yonge and Eglinton neighborhood. The restaurant's capacity to accommodate a large number of food enthusiasts is impressive, and there's a certain charm to the ambiance that instills a feeling of warmth and relaxation.
Let's talk about the food, a true highlight of our visit. Opting for a delightful 3-course meal, we, as pizza lovers, initiated our culinary journey with the Cristoforo pizza as our appetizer. This pizza changed the definition of a pizza for me. Bursting with flavor and the essence of Italy, it unquestionably ranks as one of the finest pizzas I've ever had.
For our main course, we selected the Tasca pasta and Ceflau pasta, and once again, Grazie exceeded our expectations. The pasta was exceptionally fresh and tender, practically melting in our mouths. The Tasca pasta, with its delectable stuffing and creamy tomato sauce, was a delightful contrast. My dining companion was equally impressed with the Ceflau pasta.
To conclude our meal, we had the pleasure of savoring the creme brulee cheesecake, a sublime dessert that left nothing to be desired.
A significant part of our wonderful experience was attributed to Sophie, our exceptional server. With a smiling face and welcoming attitude, she was incredibly accommodating and patient, guiding us through the menu and offering expert recommendations tailored to our preferences.
