I went for a group introductory class Oct 4th. The place was pretty neat and split in half with one side having the trampoline floor and the other side with hardwood. We had the owner/instructor Dan Iaboni teach us and was a fair instructor. By the end of our class we were doing obstacles and unfortunately my spouse fell from one of the 4.5ft ledge and broke his left arm. Dan was somewhat knowledgeable with his first aid as he stated he was certified level 3, but we question the fact that there was no first aid kit, he did not check vitals and wanted to move him (which is typically a no-no as when we talked to paramedics they told us not to move him until they arrived). My spouse also cut his nose and blood was dripping all over his face and onto the floor. My friend told me that she overheard from his other employees that they had no water, but they sold bottled water and some of my friends bought it from them earlier. Luckily, one of his employee gave me 2 bottled waters and paper towels to clean up my spouse face. I found only one of his employee more helpful by offering the bottled water, paper towel, getting the kids away from the area and he was checking if the ambulance was coming than Dan. Dan stated that he would do a follow up call the next day, but it has now been two days and no call to see how my spouse is doing. I am disappointed that we didn't receive a follow up call. I would have love to come back, but given the lack of professionalism and customer service I would rather go to another Parkour place if there is...
Read moreJust not as advertised:
Mostly children 12 and under: it is not the more adult oriented space the website and pictures make it out to be.
No change rooms. What kind of gym has no change rooms?
Impossible to find, close to no signage.
Kind of a dump, everything was a mess. The washroom had no toilet paper or paper towel.
Only one washroom. The other was closed because some pipes had fallen down and blocked the door.
The bouldering wall and parallel bars you see in the pictures were not available
Not much service from staff. They were more interested in chatting among themselves than Manning the desk.
The space was less then safe. Some pipes you hang off of, others were hot because water and gas was being piped through them. They were all intermingled.
Overall, great idea. I like keeping things casual. But...
Read moreI cannot recommend Monkey Vault enough! I hosted my son's 7th birthday party this past weekend and it was FABULOUS!
The staff were INCREDIBLE. They were soo attentive and engaged with the children and able to adapt the activities to the varying ages and skill levels.
Booking was perhaps the easiest I have ever experienced for a birthday party. I did not have to have a firm number of attendees, they charged me for only the kids that showed up.
The atmosphere was so relaxed and the staff were so accommodating. We had access to the party room for the entire 2 hour duration of the party which was so helpful in allowing us to set up and have a place for kids and parents to leave their things.
The actual facility was amazing and there was able space for parents to watch on as the kids learned new parkour skills.
We will...
