This was supposed to be a community engagement event but nothing was done to promote the event in the neighborhood. I wasted 2 hours trying to find the entrance from the YZD sign near the Downsview Park TTC station. I even messaged the organizers with zero response. When I did find the Wilson Ave entrance at 5:02 I was greeted by a rude security guard. Not a good look if you are trying to engage with the...

Highly relies on your creativity to have fun. They have free rollerskate rentals, water stations, and limited seating on the runway.

Highly recommended to bring your own gear to enjoy the long paved runway.

Note that there are barely any shades of seating. It can get very hot under...

As well if they included more resting areas with plenty of shade it would be great. For now, I wouldn't revisit it. On a positive note, I would definitely say that the kites were cool to see.
