AHA Indian Food Paradise — Restaurant in Township of Langley

My wife is a chef and very hard to take out to restaurants that don't disappoint her. She was very happy with AHA. It's not your typical Indian restaurant here in the Fraser Valley because most are Northern Indian cuisine. (Punjabi,Gujarat Etc) Less spicy dishes with wheat based roti naans and chapati. Saags and paneer.

AHA is a traditional South Idian Restaurant with many different flavors and textures,they are more spicy with rice as a base. Like many tropical Cultures.

The one wheat based southern flat bread that they made for us was Puri. My wife Katherine nee Prasad Theodore was so happy because she usually only gets Puri's at a south Indian or Fijian wedding. ( made in Ghee) Hot fresh and amazing.

The rich creamy sauces are wonderfully layered for flavors and spices. We haven't eaten everything on the menu, but every dish we had was superb. IT'S THE BEST SOUTH INDIAN RESTAURANT WE HAVE BEEN TO IN B.C.

AHA is not fine dining with fancy tablecloths and waiters. Its metal plate and simple decore means that the food is the Star of the show.

This hidden gem of a restertaunt won't stay hidden long. Soon, we are all going to be standing and waiting in long lines .

Maybe I should write a bad review so I can keep this wonderful restaurant our quiet little secret...

AHA India food paradise is one of the best restaurant. We loved all dishes. We had great delicious lunch. We started with Indian tea and that itself was so refreshing and native taste. We ordered samosa chat and Medu Vada with Sambhar & chutney. It was awesome. Vada was freshly made and sambhar was outstanding. Tomato chutney & peanut chutney was rightly spiced. We also had bullet Naan and garlic naan with sarson Da Saag with paneer. It was very tasty and native aroma. Chef was kind to come and ask about actual preparation of the Sarson. We felt to taste Tomato dal and Jeera rice. It was great taste and made with correct spice. The buttermilk was also very tasty with coriander touch. Overall it is one of the recommended restaurant if you are looking for high quality vegetarian food , value for money and real home food taste I would rate Chef Naga and Serving staff 10 of 10 ratings. Restaurant is very clean and friendly staff. We actually too pictures of the food for each dish...

It was my second visit and the Recent visit with my family I had , the service was terribly bad. I specially took my guests from Calgary to this place and I realised it wa a big time mistake. They hear the order and do not note it anywhere even if its a big order, and then tend to mess up with the items ordered. The food takes too late to reach its almost like one person of the family is done eating and then the second dish comes and similarly second person is over with the food and then the third dish comes. So even its a family visit, you are eating it all alone. The worst part is management, when you complaint about the service, all they would care about is your tone or the bill. They would not even apologise once and agree that they made a mistake. I wish the would have believed in Atithi Devo Bhava, bringing your food in another country would not bring any fortune until the values are brought too! Big time...
