We attended today as a planned preschool field trip . Upon arriving the two ladies who worked there were extremely rude . We were not informed that there was a 60 person capacity for the building . The staff were not letting parents stay with their 3 and 4 year olds and they were being very disrespectful about this . I came with a stroller and I moved out of the way of the door where all the parents were coming in and was yelled at that I was not allowed to stand there and had to take my shoes off . The lady also rudely told me that my baby in a stroller counted as a person and I was not allowed to be in there and stay . The ladies working there also after telling all the parents that they had to leave decided they did not want the preschool there anymore ( guess it was causing them too much stress ? ) tried to hand the teachers the money and tell them to leave with the kids after the parents had left already . Obviously that did not happen . If these ladies hate their jobs do much which they clearly do they should work somewhere else where they don’t have to deal with the public let alone children . Would not recommend this place to anyone let alone anyone coming for a kids birthday...
Read moreIf I could review this business 0 Stars I would. The staff is very unprofessional and rude, I attempted to bowl at Alder Alley with my kids and the first time they said the whole day was reserved for a league (even though I saw many open lanes to bowl). I compliantly agreed to leave after an employee told me to call and book in the future. The next day, I attempted to call many times (at least 4 times!) and I recieved no response! I then decided to check out their website and there it stated that reservations are only recommended and not necessary. I decided to attempt another outing to bowl, when I arrived another employee stated that there was no availability and was very rude in her response. I had explained what happened the other day and how I attempted to book many times, she did not seem to care and explicitly stated that it was our fault! I then asked her if this is how she treats her customers and her response was agreviatingly rude, she said that the business is blooming they have many customers and we are not wanted nor needed. I understand that businesses get busy and employees are overwhelmed but this is no way to...
Read moreIt was my friend’s birthday and we were told we couldn’t bring in outside food unless it was a party and that they would NEVER book a party on “Family Day”. Even though it strikes me as an odd policy, I get that an employee can’t do anything about it. However the employee could have been nicer about it.
I realize the lady might have had a rough day dealing with miscreants. I work in customer service and I’m probably unintentionally snippy from time to time, and I would hate to inspire a negative review. People can be truly awful and we are all entitled to some slack once in a while.
The young girl working there was very nice and polite.
The decor was pretty cool - like a 50s diner.
The shoes were very clean, which is arguably the most...
