Campnab is Great! We had managed to get 2 nights at St. Joseph Peninsula State Park by constantly going online and checking for cancellations manually. We wanted to extend our time there if possible, since it was a 7 hour drive from our present location. We set up a Campnab scan for St. Joseph Peninsula State Park as well as St George Island State Park, which is near there and also fully reserved. Within a couple of days 2 nights showed up at St. George right before our St. Joe reservation, so we booked them immediately. Soon after, 3 nights showed up at St. Joe right AFTER our reservation there, but at a different campsite. Since we camp pretty light, we booked those as well. We left the scans going just in case, and sure enough, the morning before we left, 3 nights showed up for right before our stay at St Joe at the SAME campsite we already had reserved!! We booked those, cancelled our St George Island State Park reservations, threw our camping gear into the truck and headed out :-) I'm sure this all sounds confusing, but the bottom line is that thanks to Campnab, we got 8 nights at a campground that we have been going to for over 30 years, and we had almost given up hope of getting reservations there again, especially since Florida now gives residents a 1 month head start on reservations. Campnab support was great, with very quick responses to our questions. We will absolutely be using Campnab for our future...
Read moreAfter a late decision on dates for a road trip through Utah's Mighty Five and the Grand Canyon's North Rim, we were scrambling to find camping spots in the parks and resigning ourselves to long drives to outside campgrounds or boondocking. Someone on TripAdvisor recommended Campnab, and I'm so thankful that they did! We are heading out in 3 days and have reservations in EVERY park, including an overnight Backcountry permit in Canyonlands. Campnab also reminded me when various hiking permits we wanted opened, so I could jump on and score those as well. On top of the great results from the app, the customer service is incredible. Soon after I signed up, I received an email that I assumed was automated - and it may have been, but after I replied to it just to say thanks, as I'd already scored spots in Zion and Grand Canyon, I got a personal response almost immediately. Same thing a few days ago when I cancelled my membership - Eric reached out to make sure everything was good with the service, and I told him how they'd basically made our trip happen, and that we will definitely sign up again when we're planning the next one! He responded with another super friendly message saying he was glad it had worked so well for us, and I appreciated that there was no pressure to keep it going in the interim.
TL;DR: Campnab is a great service...
Read moreI managed to book a campsite at my favourite Ontario Provincial Park, but I only had it for a week and was unable to extend my stay. A friend contacted me to say she had a site that she had to give up. Would I be interested? I said no as there were 3 days between when our initial booking ended and her site became available. I has heard of Camp Nab and I have to admit I was sceptical but I decided to give it a try. I was impressed with how easy it was to use. You are able to specify specific parks, dates and even specific sites. I set up a scan. I got a couple of notifications for random sites which I wasn’t interested in. I often wake up and read at night. The other night I found a message from Camp Nab. A prime waterfront site in my favourite campground was available for the dates specified. I was directly linked to the Park reservation site from the message. Luckily it was the middle of the night as my computer froze when I went to pay. Logging back in it showed there were no sites available in the entire park. I waited 10 minutes, tried again and got my site. And was able to extend my camping trip. Camp Nab was so easy to use and offers lots of help and feedback. I’ll definitely use them again if I can’t Nab a...
